The ball comes in from the Newcastle right but goes safely into the arms of Jorgacevic and the final whistle is blown.

Late corner for Newcastle is scrambled clear but Obertain then wins another.

There will be two added minutes.

Great cross from the free-kick by Lestienne which Jorgensen meets first time but fires his effort a fraction over the bar.

Bacca tumbles in the Newcastle box but the referee is unmoved. The ball is then out on the Bruges right as Cabaye goes in the book for a clumsy foul on Lestienne.

Corner on the right for Newcastle taken by Marveaux but his decent ball in is cleared before it ends up back in the hands of Jorgacevic.

Good cross from the left by Tavernier into the Bruges box is aimed at Ameobi but the whistle goes for a foul by the latter.

Long throw on the right taken by Hoefkens into the Newcastle box but it is cleared comfortably.

Newcastle make another change as Romain Amalfitano comes on for Sammy Ameobi.

Odjidja goes off for Bruges and he is replaced by Nathaniel Lagrou.

Lovely skill in the Bruges box from Sammy Ameobi but his shot is blocked well by Tom Hogli.

Great run into the Newcastle box by Bacca but his cross is cut out. A volley from Odjidja follows shortly after but it goes wide of the upright.

Krul called into action once more as he saves from Odjidja.

Tchite comes close again as his powerful header pulls a great save out of Krul, who tips his effort over the bar.

Hoefkens goes in the book for a foul on Sammy Ameobi and then the resultant free-kick from Cabaye hits the crossbar.

Newcastle make a change as Gael Bigirimana is replaced by Yohan Cabaye.

Tchite caught offisde down the left after Donk's attempted cross into the Newcastle box.

Jorgensen brings down Coloccini deep in the Newcastle half and it is another free-kick for the visitors.

Lestienne with another telling ball for Bacca to chase but Coloccini does well to get back and snuff out any danger.

Sammy Ameobi fouled just inside the Newcastle half and the visitors have a free-kick.

Great cross from the right by Lestienne into the Newcastle box and he finds the head of Bacca. It is a little higher than ideal but he should still do better than the resultant header over.

Tiote robs Odjidja too easily on the right but his deep cross into the Bruges box is just a little too high for Shola Ameobi.

Krul makes a scrambling save from Bacca's close-range effort as the latter manages to gets his shot away in amongst a crowd of players.

It is Sammy Ameobi#s turn to get a shot on target for Newcastle but his effort is saved by Jorgacevic.

Marveaux tries an audacious curler with his left foot from just inside the Bruges area but it goes over the bar.

Steven Taylor replaces Williamson at the back for Newcastle.

The lively Tchite is involved again down the right and his cross finds Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe in space on the edge of the Newcastle area but he dithers too long and his shot is then blocked.

Tchite gets into the Newcastle box and hits a fierce shot straight at Krul.

Marveaux takes the free-kick and Shola Ameobi wins the header once more but Coloccini can't just get on the end of his knock back into the centre.

Foul on Tiote just inside the Bruges half.

Jordi gets in a tangle on the edge of his own box and Shola Ameobi has a clear sight of goal. His shot pulls a good save out of Jorgacevic.

Corner to Newcastle on their right earned by Obertain. Another free header by Shola Ameobi, who heads just over from 15 yards.

Back-to-back corners for Bruges from the right. Lestienne takes both and the second is much better as it is met by Carl Hoefkens, who heads over.

Marveaux delivers a useful ball into the six-yard box and it is cleared. Toon have a second opportunity to cross and it is met by Shola Ameobi, who heads straight at Jorgacevic.

Early free-kick to Newcastle on the left as Tavernier is brought down by Almeback.

Tchite involved straight away but his control just lets him down on the edge of the Newcastle box.

The teams have taken to the field and Newcastle restart. Mohammed Tchite is on for Bruges in place Trickovski.

All to play for in Belgium with 45 minutes to go and Sky Bet make both Bruges and Newcastle 7/4 for the win. The draw can be backed at 13/8 while Carlos Bacca heads the betting to be next goalscorer at 5/1.

The whistle goes for the break at the end of a hugely entertaining first half.

GOAL NEWCASTLE: The visitors are level in dramatic fashion as Sammy Ameobi finds his brother Shola in space in the Bruges area and the latter toe-pokes the ball past Jorgacevic.

GOAL NEWCASTLE: Vurnon Anita gets his first goal for Toon and he will struggle to better it in his career as he volleys in from the edge of the Bruges area in fantastic style.

Good idea from Tavernier to try and realease Sammy Ameobi down the left but his ball is just too strong and goes behind for a Bruges goal-kick.

Krul fires a long ball down the left in the direction of Ameobi but it is too high and goes straight out for a Bruges throw-in.

Silly challenge on Trickovski by Tiote earns him the first yellow card of the game and he now misses the next European game.

Great turn in the box by Shola Ameobi but his angle is so tight that he can only drill the ball across the six-yard box and there are no Newcastle players in the vicinity.

Great cross from the left by Maxime Lestienne but it is just too high for the head of Bacca in the middle.

Newcastle still dominating possession and Tavernier's cross can only be flicked behind off the head of Sammy Ameobi.

The Newcastle pressure continues from the restart but they can't really create a clearcut opening.

Sammy Ameobi crosses well to his brother Shola and the latter heads goalward and it is tipped over by Jorgacevic for a corner.

The physical Ameobi is pulled up again on the edge of the Bruges box by the referee's whistle and it is a free-kick to the hosts.

Jurgensen to get some attention as he gets an accidental hand in the face from Cheick Tiote.

Cross from the right by Anita but the whistle goes as Ameobi is judged to have handballed as he ties to control the cross.

Good defending in his own box now by Trickovski and he wins his side a free-kick.

Newcastle blow yet another great chance. Obertain sprints into the box and drills in a low cross as the unmarked Marveaux produces an airshot from 10 yards as he tries to fire home.

Bruges break quickly again down the left with Bacca but he tries an ambitious shot without the outside of his foot rather than crossing and Krul gathers with ease.

Foul by Trickovski as Tavernier is brought down and Newcastle have a promsing position 30 yards from the Bruges goal. It is chipped into the box by Sylvain Marveaux but cleared fairly easily again.

GOAL BRUGES: Jesper Jorgensen doubles the lead as he picks up the ball on the edge of the box after a poor header from James Tavernier and fires low and to the right of Krul into the corner of the goal.

Long ball from the right punted forward into the Bruges box by Mike Williamson and Shola Ameobi tries to make a nuisance of himself. Michael Almeback takes a wahack in the face accidently from Ameobi and the game comes to a halt.

Newcastle attempt to get straight back on terms but Sammy Ameobi's shot is blocked from inside the Bruges box before an offside whistle goals.

GOAL BRUGES: Ivan Trickovski takes a long ball over the top down well, outwits Coloccini just inside the area and dispataches his left-foot shot past Krul.

Obertain has the best chance of the game so far to open the scoring - he tries to find the far corner of the Bruges net but Bojan Jorgacevic stretches well to make the save.

Bruges able to counter after the Newcastle free-kick but the move ends up with Donk firing wide from outside of the box.

Foul on Shola Ameobi gives Newcastle a free-kick down the left in a good position but the ball into the box is easily cleared.

Bacca has another chance to threaten the Newcastle goal after Krul's weary clearance but his cross from the byline is intercepted by Fabricio Coloccini.

Krul kicks the ball into touch as Ryan Donk is laid out on the turf after a challenge. He is soon back on his feet.

Throw deep inside the Newcastle half taken by Vurnon Anita. The latter then has to do some defensive tidying up as the lively Bacca tries to wriggle between challenges and get a shot away on the edge of the Newcastle box.

First chance for the home side as Carlos Bacca find some space himslef on the edge of the Newcastle are but can only manage to shoot wide.

Space opens up for Gabriel Obertain on the edge of the area and he should do better with his shot, which he drags wide of the post.

Early throw deep in the Bruges half for Newcastle. Shola Ameobi battles for the ball but loses out to two home defenders and another Toon throw is the outcome.

We are under way in Belgium at the Jan Breydel Stadium as the hosts kick-off. Bruges doing a good impression of Inter Milan in their blue and black striped home shirts
