All over here and Stoke claim the three points thanks to those two late strikes.

Long ball forward and Begovic is off his line brilliantly to clear ahead of Ameobi.

Stoke still on the attack - but Newcastle look to counter - Santon drives forward and goes for goal but his shot is charged down.

Double change from Newcastle with Anita and Cisse off making way for Nile Ranger and Sammy Ameobi.

GOAL - CAMERON JEROME - Walters ball to Jones, he heads down for Jerome who finishes with great aplomb.

Acrobatic attempt from Walters as N'Zonzi crosses into the box but it is wide.

Crowd have really come alive now - grandstand finish coming up.

GOAL - JONATHAN WALTERS - Jerome crosses into the box and Walters rises to flick the ball into far corner over Krul.

Newcastle win a corner. Anita takes, it comes for Cisse at the back post and he wants a penaty for handball but Mr Webb waves play on.

Best chance yet for Stoke, great dinked ball into the box from Kightly and Jones is there but he heads straight at Krul.

Another good stop from Begovic, this time from Ba as he latches onto a deflection but the Bosnian does well to save with his legs.

Great ball from Kightly finds Jerome, he holds it up and Stoke build - ball comes for Shotton and he looks for Jones, but Krul takes it.

Kightly wins corner off Wiliamson - Whelan takes, Shawcross meets it but it loops wide of goal.

Long ball over the top from Huth finds Jerome - he is flagged for offside but it looked very close.

Another ball into the box from Stoke, this time Whelan - but again Krul comes and takes it with ease.

Long thrown from Shotton - but Tiote heads clear, but Stoke get the corner. Whelan takes - Jones rises but Wiliamson heads clear.

Tony Pulis makes his last changes as Adam and Etherington are replaced by Michael Kightly and Cameron Jerome.

Stoke on the offfensive and win a corner, Simpson clears but it comes for Walters and his thunderous drive is parried by Krul - it comes back for the Irishman but he slams it well over.

Great save from Begovic as Cisse breaks, he holds off Cameron but this time the Bosnian makes an excellent stop at full stretch.

Chance for Cameron to cross into the box, he does but it is poor and straight to Krul.

Play stopped again, this time Perch is down after being caught by Jones.

Strong pass back from Tiote is dealt with well by Krul as he chests it down and clears before Jones is on him.

Cameron is booked for late challenge on Perch.

Good ball in from Shotton - but more good work from Williamson and Simpson to clear.

Good work from Santon down the left, Tiote takes it and he feeds Ba, who tries one again from 25-yards - this time Begovic claims it.

Etherington wins corner - Whelan takes but that is easy for Krul to come and claim.

Good work from Etherington down the left, he looks for Walters at the back post but he heads wide. Decent chance.

More good defending from Williamson as he gets to Whelan's cross ahead of Jones to make a crucial clearance.

Stoke looking to press now. Cameron with long throw into the box but Williamson clears well.

GOAL - PAPISS CISSE - Ba lets loose from long-range and Begovic fails to deal with it and Cisse slams it home off the post. Poor goalkeeping.

Apparently Stoke considered changing into their second kit at half time as the assistants were having problems telling the difference between the two sides.

No changes at half-time as Stoke get us underway.

Stoke are back out here and ready to go, Newcastle making their way onto the pitch now.

Howard Webb brings the first-half to an end, safe to say it has not been a classic.

Whelan trips Gutierrez. Newcastle chance to put into the box, but Walters clears.

Good defending from Coloccini as he intercepts long ball destined for Jones as he looked to break behind.

Nice cross by Ba to back post looking for Perch - he wants the corner, which he gets. Anita will take - but Begovic claims it with ease.

Three-minutes of added time.

Shotton does well down the right, and gets his cross in despite Gutierrez's presence but Etherington's mistimes his jump and the ball runs to safety.

Good work from N'Zonzi and looks for Etherington on the left - his cross is deflected behind. Etherington takes, Huth knocks it down but whistle is gone as Jones fires wide.

Jones comes on for Crouch.

Kenwyne Jones has his top off and looks like he may come on for Crouch - who looks drowsy.

Crouch is down now, again blood to the face after he is caught by stray arm from Coloccini - accidental though as the Argentine did not see the England man coming in.

Santon is proving Newcastle's best outlet thus far, he gets away again down the left but his cross is dealt with well by Shawcross.

Great ball from Whelan sends Etherington away down the left he looks for Adam in the box but the pass is too strong but he still wins a corner. The Scot takes but it is poor and Newcastle clear.

Huth plays a ball over the top looking for run of Walters but Krul is off his line quickly to claim the ball.

Best effort of the night so far as Whelan unleashes one from 25-yards, it is just wide but he should really have hit the target.

Third booking of the night and Adam is booked for late challenge, was coming after a number of indiscretions.

Gutierrez picks up clearance on the left, he turns and gets his cross into the box but Begovic is there ahead of Ba. Bosnian looks very solid so far this evening.

Nice play from Santon, dribbles the ball out of defence look to set-up attack - Newcastle try to string a few passes together but Jonas Gutierrez gives up possession for too easily.

Newcastle trying, Tiote plays ball to corner of the box for Cisse - he volleys first time cross into six-yard box looking for Ba but it is comfortable for Begovic.

Play stopped whilst Cameron gets some treatment for a cut to his face.

Thanks for the feedback - Anne Lovely looks to have got things right with the cards anyway - "Ba will remind the Stoke physios that his knee is still intact and grab a goal, but I expect more cards than goals with the cold weather!"

Whelan and Adam are over it. The former takes but it easily seen over his bar by Krul.

Another booking, and another Newcastle player into the book as Perch brings down Etherington. 30-yards out.

Corner comes in from Whelan and the low drive is met by Walters head but it is straight at Krul.

Free-kick out wide on Stoke's right. Whelan crosses brilliantly into the box - the ball hits Williamson on the arm and it hits the post before Simpson scrambles it behind.

Santon goes into the book for challenge on Walters.

Begovic is off his line quick to clear into touch a ball over the top looked for Cisse.

Coloccini pass is intercepted by Walters, and he breaks but his pass towards Crouch is poor and Tiote cleans up.

First real touch from Tiote as he wins possession in midfield - Newcastle coming into the game more now.

Whelan takes, but it is not a great delivery and Newcastle relieve the pressure through Anita.

Adam goes down from Santon collision - again some 40-yards out and Stoke will look to put it into the box. Santon needing some treatment.

Ba and Cisse again looking to combine, this time in the box but Shawcross clears into touch.

Good long ball from Ba down the right and Cisse keeps it in, he feeds Anita on the edge of the area and he looks to curl one into the far corner but it is straight at Begovic.

Another long throw, but again it is Santon looking to deliver it into the box but Stoke clear their lines.

Perch breaks towards edge of the box after picking up pass from Anita, he fires at goal and is not far wide - but Begovic had it covered.

Cisse clips Etherington's heels, about 45-yards out - another chance for Stoke to put it in. Etherington whips it in and Huth heads wide - an early warning for Newcastle.

Newcastle's turn for a long throw, this time Santon pumps it in but Huth heads clear.

Shotton looks for a long-throw, but he takes short to Walters and gets the ball back - he looks to cross but Krul claims it with ease.

Newcastle concede an early free-kick. Whelan plays short for Etherington but good defending from Santon forces him away from goal and opportunity is gone.

Newcastle get us underway kicking from right to left.

Players are out nearly kick-off time...

Newcastle fans not too happy, even a Beardsley cannot see them winning. Jon Beardsley says: "Disappointed like most people in the squads performances this year! My pred 2-1 to stoke! But hoping to be pleasantly surprised!"

Thanks for all your feedback so far, most of you predicting a very cold night ahead in the Potteries! So lets look somewhere warmer, like South Africa. "Edd Irwin here from Durban,South Africa. With Stoke on a high after getting three points on Saturday I think they will get another three points tonight. I'm going for a 2-1 result with Crouch and Walters scoring."

Teams in full...

Team news is coming out - Stoke name an unchanged side, whilst Newcastle bring back captain Fabricio Coloccini after suspension and James Perch returns with Shane Ferguson dropped to the bench.
