Buzsaky: Set for Pompey bow

Akos Buzsaky will make his full Portsmouth debut.

The former QPR midfielder came on for his first Pompey appearance as a substitute in Saturday's 2-2 draw at MK Dons and manager Michael Appleton has confirmed he will start on Tuesday night.

Defenders Josh Thompson, Ashley Westwood (both ankle) and Alex Grant (knee), midfielder Darel Russell (hamstring) and striker Luke Rodgers (thigh) are still on the sidelines.

Skipper Brian Howard has been relieved of penalty-taking duties after missing from the spot for the second week running against the Dons on Saturday.

Appleton revealed one of strikers Izale McLeod or Wes Thomas will be handed the responsibility if Pompey are awarded another spot-kick.

Stuart Lewis is a major doubt for Wycombe.

The former Gillingham midfielder aggravated a thigh injury in the 2-1 win against Torquay on Saturday, and will face a fitness test before kick-off to assess his availability.

Chairboys caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth will also be hoping Nikki Bull can prove his fitness to face Michael Appleton's men.

The ex-Aldershot goalkeeper has missed the last five games with a thigh injury, but has returned to training and will be looking to reclaim his place between the sticks.

Matt Ingram (knee) and Matt Bloomfield (groin) are closing in on a first-team return, but the cup fixture comes too soon for both men.

Sam Wood (knee) and Dennis Oli (ankle) are expected to return from their injuries in a couple of weeks.
