And there is the final whistle, it's all over. Swansea really dug in during the second half to grab a hard-earned point. Man Utd will be pretty disappointed that they could not convert their pressure into a winner after half-time and they have ultimately seen their lead at the top of the table cut to four points.
Swansea relieve some pressure as they take it out of their own half. Just 30 seconds left and it looks like they will hold Man Utd here.
Vorm races out to head away a Van Persie through ball. He is caught off his line by Giggs but the veteran cannot find the net with his first-time lob.
A Man Utd attack is broken up by one of Scholes' famously mistimed tackles. He is also shown the yellow card.
Man Utd with all of the possession now. There will be four minutes of added time.
Giggs plays in Evra but the Frenchman cannot pick out a team-mate with the cross.
Agustien gets a great ovation as he comes off to be replaced by Schechter.
Swansea are really holding on here. Man Utd look much the more likely to grab a winner in the last five minutes or so.
Man Utd make another change as Cleverley is brought off for Scholes.
Swansea hit a long, hoepful ball forward but De Gea comes and collects.
Giggs loses control off the ball and slides in on Tiendalli from behind. The home fans want a booking but no card is shown. Swansea now have the chance to finally clear the danger.
Man Utd continue to come forward as Van Persie and then Young have shots blocked. There are appeals for handball after the second, which Davies blocked on the line. Again his arm was down by his side.
Rooney takes the free kick but it is a tame one and he is immediately brought off for Giggs. Man Utd win a corner though and Carrick gets his head to it, it seems to be heading goalwards but Vorm manages to touch it onto the bar. Great save!
It was Dyer's challenge which drew the free-kick but Williams kicked the ball away and it hit Van Persie. Both Williams and Van Persie are booked. The referee must have judged Williams' actions intentional while Van Persie was cautioned for his reaction.
Van Persie wins a free-kick on the edge of the box and loses his temper completely. He is furious at Williams but is restrained by his team-mates.
Swansea have an almighty mix up in defence but Rooney cannot capitalise and the hosts get a big let off.
Van Persie slots in a great ball for Hernandez but the Mexican cannot get off a clean shot and Vorm makes the save.
Swansea make another change. De Guzman, who has played well, comes off to be replaced by Luke Moore.
Tiendalli plays it past Rooney and is taken out by the Man Utd player, who is shown the yellow card for the foul.
Rooney whips in a cross which Van Persie meets with a hooked volley which hits the bar! It goes behind and the referee erroneously gives a corner but nothing comes of it.
Man Utd starting to get on top now. Swansea are struggling to get out of their own half.
Looks like Young has switched to the right with Rooney on the left and Hernandez up front with Van Persie.
Both teams have made a change. Hernandez comes on to replace Valencia for Man Utd while Ki replaces Britton for Swansea.
To clear one thing up, it was actually Chico who was booked earlier. Presumably for an earlier incident or something he said to the referee.
Jones goes forward and cuts infield but his attempted pass to Ronoey trickles out of play.
Agustien is late on Young and is shown the yellow card because of it. Rooney strikes the free kick well but it is straight at Vorm.
Swansea come forward again but Rooney gets back to break up the attack well and Man Utd now look to slow it down a bit.
Still an even game after the first 10 minutes of the second half. Both teams look more than capable of scoring again.
Dyer tries to curl one into the top corner from the edge of the box for Swansea but it's a fair way off target.
End-to-end stuff as Man Utd overhwelm Swansea. Rooney plays in Young but Williams gets back to block well.
Dyer gets in behind before cutting back and laying off to Routledge, who tries to beat De Gea at the near post but only succeeds in forcing a corner, which Man Utd clear.
Agustien has a shot from the edge of the box but De Gea gets down well to hold it.
The visitos come right back at them though as Rooney surges forward only to see his shot blocked. Young then has a cross cut out and Swansea get it away.
Van Persie pushes Williams while battling for a header and Swansea clear with a free-kick.
Rooney tries to break open the Swansea defence but his pass is cut out by Chico.
De Guzman is very lively again at the start of the second half but his enthusiasm gets the better of him as he gives away a free-kick.
Kick-off! The second half is underway.
Last word before the second half goes to Manuel from Portland, Oregon: "I knew Michu would punish us given the chance. Vidic's number is in his pocket by now. I hope SAF gives them the hairdryer treatment and lights a fire under their tush. Man United 3 Swansea 1"
Man Utd are still the favourites with Sky Bet at even money. A draw is 13/8 and Swansea are 7/2 outsiders despite their performance in the first half.
Jay emails in again: "A different prediction now. I think Manchester United haven't played their best but with Sir Alex Ferguson famous hairdryer treatment it will be 3-1."
Leon thinks Van persie will score twice and Michu once more to give the visitors a 3-2 win while John thinks it will be 3-1 to man Utd with Van Persie getting both goals.
Adam thinks Man Utd will prevail in the end: "I think young will cut behind defence and grab the next. united to win 3-2, michu to level then rooney from a young cross to snatch 89th -92nd min winner. united til i die!"

Just the one minute of added time takes us to the interval. Swansea have probably been the better team in the first half and deserved to draw level after falling behind. Sir Alex Ferguson has a stern look on the touchline and his players could be in for a spot of the hairdryer treatment over the next few minutes.
Evra gets past Dyer and pulls it back for Rooney, who is in space and gets off a shot but Vorm stops it and holds onto it well.
Young runs into the box and cuts it back but Britton makes a crucial interception.

Some neat play allows Routledge in on the right of the box. His cross is mishit though and it's out for a goal kick.
Bit of a lull now as Swansea knock it about in their own half. Man Utd will be glad of the relief.
Dyer cuts inside and has a go with his left foot. The shot lacks any real power though and De Gea gathers comfortably.
De Guzman has yet another shot but this time it is wide of the target. Really encouraging stuff from Swansea in the last 10 minutes.
Corner is dealt with but a subsequent throw causes trouble. De Guzman keeps the ball in well but again shoots straight at De Gea. Swansea on top at the moment.
Shenanigans in the box between Evra and Routledge force the referee to have a word. Corner still to be taken.
Routledge crosses for Michu but Man Utd manage to cut it out. It comes back in towards Dyer and Evra is forced to concede a corner.
Dyer shepherds the ball out well and Swansea can now relieve the pressure with a goal kick.
Man Utd now having a spell of possession. Van Persie hits a right-footed shot but is is not troubling Vorm.
Swansea are level! Routledge plays De Guzman clean through but De Gea makes the save. The rebound drops to Michu for a tap in though and the summer signing makes no mistake to become the lone top scorer in the Premier League!
GOAL - MICHU!
Jones slides in on Davies and is shown the yellow card by referee Michael Oliver. The crowd wanted a red but it didn't look malicious.
Now Swansea come forward as Dyer gets it on the right and loops in a cross for Michu, whose header is over the bar. Half a chance for the Spaniard there .
Man Utd press again as Rooney plays in Jones down the right but the defender's chipped cross is over the bar and Swansea can clear.
Van Persie whips it in but it is overhit and and Swansea are able to clear.
A corner for Man Utd now as Valencia's cross is deflected by Davies.
Swansea certainly have not been subdued by that goal and are still coming forward. No more chances as of yet though.
Swansea now have a free-kick in a good position out on the right as Evra pushes Dyer over.
At the other end De Guzman controls well and bears down on goal, but Michu is adjudged to have blocked Evans and it is a free-kick to Man Utd.
Evra attacks the box from the resulting corner and heads past Leon Britton on the far post to give Man Utd the lead. The goal came slightly against the run of play and Swansea will be disappointed with how they conceded it.
Best chance of the match so far sees Carrick play in Young, who forces a great low save from Vorm.
At the other end Rooney forces a low save from Vorm, who has not been nearly as busy as his opposite number in the opening stages.
Michu picks the ball up in a dangerous position. He has a man in acres of space on the right but elects to go it alone and his shots rolls into the hands of De Gea.
De Guzman strolls forward and tries to pick out Michu but can't. The ball comes back to him, however, and this time he feeds Routledge, who shoots into De Gea's arms. Swansea having a lot of the early play.
Agustien dinks a ball over the top for Michu, who burns off Vidic to get to it but then slices his left-footed shot high and wide.
The corner is easily gathered by De Gea, however, and Man Utd are back in possession again.
Tiendalli gets forward on the right again and this time wins a corner. Good spell for Swansea here.
Some good one-touch stuff from Swansea allows Tiendalli to get a cross in but no-one can connect and it fizzes across the six-yard box.
Cleverley tries to find Van Persie but cannot split the defence with his pass. Man Utd gather the ball again and spread it wide to Young, who cannot get past Tiendalli and it's a goal kick.
The ball did hit Davies' arm before deflecting out but he had it clamped firmly against his chest. Swansea clear the corner eventually.
Evans gives it away to Dyer in his own half but the speedster's cross is headed clear and Man Utd go down the other and and win a corner.
And we're off! Swansea get the match underway.
The home crowd seem really up for this. They didn't take any points off Man Utd in their two matches last season and will be eager to make up for that today.
The teams are out on the pitch now and the formalities are being completed.
Last word before kick-off goes to Max: "Good to see Buttner on the bench - I would actually play him at left wing instead of Young - he's played there for his old club and would give us a better option instead of the predictability of Young always cutting inside. Going for 2-1 to United with Swansea scoring first - tougher game than it looks on paper."
Teams in the tunnel now with Vidic back in a familiar position at the front of the Man Utd queue.
Sajid and Christian both think it will be 2-1 to Man Utd. Not long now until we start to find out.
Just 10 minutes to go before kick-off now, we are almost ready for action.
Mattie, meanwhile, thinks the visitors will win 4-1 with Van Persie grabbing a hat-trick.
Man Utd fan Ben thinks his team will prevail. "Big game today for the reds. Rooney will be the key for us and we have to defend well and hit Swansea on the break as we know they will have long periods of possession. RVP to bag a brace in a 3-1 win for Fergie's men!"
Maxim is the first to put his neck on the line and go for the upset. "Hopefully Swansea will end 2-game losing streak today. 2-1 (Michu, de Guzman - RvP)."
Our colleagues at Sky Bet give you lowdown on the odds. "Manchester United are the well-backed favourites at 8/13 with Swansea 21/5 and the draw 3/1. Robin van Persie heads the first goalscorer market at 100/30 while he and fellow Premier League top scorer Michu are 6/1 to both net today."

Good to see Vidic back, going for a 3-1 Utd win with the usual scorers Van Persie and Shrek oops I mean Rooney."
Man Utd fan Marcus thinks it will be tough for the league leaders today: "Great to see vidic back hopefully we keep a clean sheet but this will be a very tough game its a strong team United have got I predict a 2-1 win for the Reds."
Benn predicts lots of goals, going for a 3-3 draw, while Danish sends in this:" United good team! Need to score more goals and attack with pace! Vidic to lock down Michu."
Colin Frendo gives his view on the Man Utd team: "Glad to see United team unchanged however a small concern on pairing Evans and Vidic, who are both back from injury.. Having said that, with Cleverley in midfield, United always have a chance, I feel. His is a pass and move player.. such a modern midfielder and vital."
