The midfielder's unstoppable 30-yard effort was too good for Town goalkeeper Scott Davies and sealed a superb fight back by the visitors at Highbury Stadium on Saturday.

Junior Brown stabbed Fleetwood into the lead after 11 minutes, popping up at the back post after Alan Goodall's free-kick caused chaos in the Shots box.

But sloppy defending gifted the visitors a way back into the game. Alex Marrow swung at air when he needed to make a simple clearance and Danny Hylton equalised with an 18-yard drive past Davies.

The home side piled on the pressure after the break. But, when Hylton skipped past Steve McNulty and outstretched Davies with 15 minutes to play, any sign of a revival was brought to an end.

David Ball did bag a late second goal for the home side but it was too little too late - a third defeat in as many games for Micky Mellon's men sealing Fleetwood's FA Cup fate.
