Wilfried Zaha, who has harboured a niggling ankle problem and arrived late in Israel following Crystal Palace's triumphant play-off campaign, missed the opening defeat to Italy but is ready to return.

Tottenham's Danny Rose and Blackpool winger Tom Ince are also available for the match in Petah Tikva after sitting out Wednesday's disappointing 1-0 loss through suspension.

Ince is poised to replace Marvin Sordell on the left wing but Birmingham's Nathan Redmond was a rare highlight in a team performance criticised by the manager as well as the media and should keep his place.

Chelsea pair Nathaniel Chalobah and Josh McEachran, both used as late substitutes against the Italians, are pushing for starts, and only Henri Lansbury (groin) missed training on Friday.

"Wilf Zaha has been great in training and is itching to play," Pearce told reporters ahead of the second Group A clash. "So are Danny Rose and Tom Ince.

"We have a strong squad of players and they want to put it right against Norway. They have to put in a performance."

England did the double over Norway in qualifying but the Scandinavians salvaged a morale-boosting late draw with 10 men after twice falling behind to Israel.

Left-back Vegar Hedenstad is suspended after being sent off in the first half so Martin Linnes should deputise, while Harmeet Singh came off the bench to net the equaliser and will hope to start.
