Cox: Faces a late fitness test

Dean Cox is an injury doubt for Leyton Orient's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Section semi-final tie.

The winger suffered a thigh strain towards the end of Saturday's 1-1 FA Cup third-round draw at Hull.

Boss Russell Slade has not yet ruled Cox out of the tie but Jimmy Smith, who replaced him at the KC Stadium, is on standby to start.

Lee Cook was feeling a calf injury at the weekend and could be rested. Neither Cook nor fellow QPR old boy Martin Rowlands have appeared in the competition so far.

Scott Cuthbert, Ryan Brunt, Gary Sawyer and Anthony Griffith played in the last round against Northampton and are pushing for recalls having been on the bench at Hull.

Yeovil have received a double boost with a return to fitness for Nathan Ralph and an extension to Dan Burn's loan.

Fulham loanee Burn will now stay with the Glovers until the end of the season while former Peterborough man Ralph is ready to make a comeback after surgery on a cyst that tore knee cartilage last year.

New signing Kevin Dawson could make his debut after his international clearance came through. The 22-year-old former Shelbourne midfielder has signed a deal until the end of the season.

Another player who could make his Yeovil bow is Middlesbrough midfielder Matty Dolan, 20, who has joined on a month-long loan and is eligible to feature.

Attacking midfielder Sam Foley returned to the squad on New Year's Day after a hamstring injury and he could be given a start at Brisbane Road.

Lewis Young remains on the road to full fitness while left-sided defender Curtis Haynes-Brown has completed his permanent move to Cambridge.
