Cheltenham midfielder Marlon Pack will be involved after his proposed move to Swindon fell through on transfer deadline day.

The 21-year-old midfielder trained with his team-mates on Monday morning and manager Mark Yates confirmed he will travel with the squad to face an in-form Pirates side.

Cheltenham, who moved up to third in League Two with victory over Torquay on Saturday, were missing left-back Billy Jones but the former Leyton Orient man looks likely to recover from a thigh injury.

Yates handed debuts to four players against the Gulls with Paul Benson, Jason Taylor and Michael Hector in the starting line-up and deadline-day addition Byron Harrison featuring off the bench.

All four are likely to be involved again.

Bristol Rovers have no fresh injury worries as they look to build on a run of three successive victories.

The Pirates' last-gasp 2-1 win over Barnet on Friday night moved them up to 19th in League Two - two points clear of the relegation zone - but they travel to face a Robins side in the automatic promotion places.

Ward, who has overseen four wins from his six games back at The Memorial Stadium, was able to play young striker Eliot Richards against the Bees after he shook off an injury.

Striker Ryan Brunt, a recent signing from Stoke, is expected to retain his place up front after his late winner, while midfielder Jim Paterson is still sidelined with a hamstring complaint.
