Full time whistle goes and Wigan are through to the fifth round as Macclesfield's FA Cup hopes disappear.

Murtagh breaks towards box, it falls for Barnes-Homer but he slices it wide.

Winn puts it into the box and Jones heads it behind. Winn corner is poor and Jones hacks it away.

Golobart has to deflect a Murtagh effort out for a corner. Winn corner is headed away by McManaman.

Great defending from Figueroa with McDonald and Mackreth around him but he turns and brings it away.

Another decent chance for Fairhurst on the edge of the box but he lashes it over.

Nice ball from Figueroa over the top looking for run of Gomez and Anyon is off his line quickly to clear.

Adrian Lopez on for the injured Dicko.

Macclesfield win a corner off Golobart - comes in and Robles misses the ball and it just goes wide for another corner. Second corner from Kissock is too long and sails straight out.

Gomez is down from Murtagh challenge but Dicko is in need of treatment on far side so Wigan put the ball out - home fans not happy.

Figueroa takes free kick but he drags it well wide.

Braham-Barrett booked for handball.

Barnes-Homer fires at goal from Murtagh lay-off but Henriquez charges it down. Ball back in and the home side want a penalty claiming Jones handball, but nothing given.

Figueroa booked for foul on Mackreth - edge of the box real chance.

Fairhurst booked for foul on Espinzoa.

David Jones replaces Fyvie.

Real chance for Macclesfield as Barnes-Homer squares in the box for Murtagh, he can't take it first time and when he does get his shot away, Gomez is there to clear for Wigan.

Fairhurst breaks into the box from Barnes-Homer's flick but fires well wide.

Early chance for Wigan as Gomez plays Dicko clear but he fires straight at Anyon - should be 2-0.

Wigan kick-off, neither side has made a change.

Whistle goes and Wigan hold the lead at the break.

Wigan corner as Audel slices the ball behind. Taken short to Espinoza, but cross is poor and Macclesfield can clear.

Wigan fail to clear, Wedgbury puts it in and it is on the head of Audel but it is straight at Robles - Macc could and should be level.

Macc corner but Fairhurst goes down and wants the penalty - nothing given. Kissock takes but Roman Golobart clears.

Murtagh free-kick is cleared to edge of the box, it comes for Kissock but his goal-bound effort is blocked well by Maynor Figueroa.

Mustoe slides in and catches Mackreth.

Murtagh loses the ball to Gomez, flicked it through to Henriquez and he curls it just over.

Decent chance for Macclesfield, ball comes for Wedgbury on the edge of the box but his shot is high and wide.

Barnes-Homer plays slides ball into Craig Barham-Barrett but he slices it over the bar as he looked to cross.

Mustoe and McManaman combine well, the latter puts ball into the box but Dicko can't take it and the home side clear.

Good work from Mackreth again on the right, he takes on Mustoe and finds Barnes-Homer with the cross, he brings it down but Robles is equal to it.

Kissock back-heel finds Barnes-Homer but his cross is straight at Joel Robles.

Good challenge from Brown on Angelo Henriquez as the loan man looked to turn him in the box.

Macclesfield win corner as Mackreth cross deflects wide, Kissock tries Ronaldo-type corner but it is straight at Espinzoa and he clears.

So close from McManaman. Nice play from Wigan sees six players involved before cross comes into the box and Joe Anyon punches clear, but only as far as McManaman, who turns on the edge of the box before firing just wide.

Another Macclesfield free-kick deep in Wigan territory. Murtagh puts it in ball comes back across for Kissock - who heads just wide, but flag was up as ball had gone out.

Nice play from the home side and Fairhurst wins a free-kick on the right, level with the edge of the box. Murtagh again takes but it is poor and Gomez clears.

Town free-kick about 30-yards out, Murtagh dinks it in to the box, and Nat Brown wins the header but it is wide.

Good run down the right from Jack Mackreth, but his cross is blocked and cleared by Jordan Mustoe.

Long ball over the top from Fyvie looking for run of Noah Dicko - but it is out for a goal-kick. Wigan look dangerous every time they go forward.

Chance for Macclesfield as John Paul Kissock is clear on the left but Barnes-Homer can't find him - wasted chance.

Kieran Murtagh carries the ball into midfield and tries one from long range but he drags it well wide.

GOAL - JORDI GOMEZ - He steps up and slots into the corner.

Great ball from Gomez, and McManaman breaks into the box and he is brought down by Audel - clear penalty.

Sam Wedgbury dispossessed Espinzoa, Matthew Barnes-Homer looks to feed Waide Fairhurst in the box but he over runs it.

Wigan possession early on Roger Espinzoa looks for run of Callum McMananman but Thierry Audel clears.
