Nicky Hunt: Hamstrung

Nicky Hunt: Hamstrung

Nicky Hunt is a major doubt for the hosts. He was replaced by Peter Murphy midway through the first half of Saturday's 3-2 victory over Barnet with a hamstring strain and is unlikely to feature against the Dons.

Stanley manager Leam Richardson may also be without Padraig Amond and on-loan defender Mark Hughes who continue their recovery from respective groin and calf problems.

Richardson will be able to call on Lee Molyneux who netted a hat-trick in the win against Edgar Davids' Bees.

James Beattie dropped to the bench at the weekend but will be pushing for a return to the starting line-up alongside fellow former England international Francis Jeffers.

Young goalkeeper Andrew Dawber continues to be troubled by a knee problem meaning Ian Dunbavin will be named among the substitutes once more despite a shoulder injury of his own.

The visitors are set to be without defenders Pim Balkestein and Jonathan Meades.

Balkestein is facing a couple of weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury and Meades has been called up by Wales Under-21s.

With Will Antwi (hip), Jim Fenlon (back) and Curtis Osano (calf) still missing, manager Neal Ardley is short of numbers at the back.

Elsewhere, winger Kevin Sainte-Luce shook off a dead leg to come on as a substitute in Saturday's 1-0 over Aldershot and should be involved again, while Jack Midson marked his return to the starting line-up with the winning goal.

Fellow striker Jason Prior is on the mend after another spell out injured but Ardley wants to send him out on loan to build up his fitness.
