Gary Teale: Hoping to return against Celtic

Gary Teale: Hoping to return against Celtic

The 34-year-old has missed the last three games with an abductor problem but will be assessed before the Sky Live showdown on Saturday lunchtime.

Buddies manager Danny Lennon may have to do without skipper Jim Goodwin who is struggling with a knock, but fellow midfielder Kenny McLean could return after a two-month absence with a knee injury.

Celtic will have defender Kelvin Wilson and the versatile Charlie Mulgrew back in the squad for the trip to Paisley.

Centre-half Wilson was ruled out of Wednesday's league defeat at Motherwell because he was suffering a migraine, while Mulgrew has been absent from the last couple of matches with a glute problem.

Skipper Scott Brown (hip) and Mikael Lustig (abductor) are definitely out, but defender Rami Gershon has returned to training again and should feature after struggling with a knock.
