Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is a major doubt for Tottenham's game against Inter Milan after suffering a knee injury during Sunday's north London derby win over Arsenal.
Mousa Dembele, like Adebayor, came off during that match but he trained on Wednesday morning and has been passed fit for the first leg of the Europa League last-16 tie.
Younes Kaboul, Sandro and Tom Huddlestone (all knee) are unavailable while Clint Dempsey (calf) is out and Hugo Lloris is expected to make way for Brad Friedel in goal.
Inter Milan's plans to stop Gareth Bale tearing them apart once again have been hit by an injury crisis.
Bale scored a stunning hat-trick in the San Siro in October 2010 and he then put on a thrilling display in the opposing fixture the following month as Spurs beat the Italian giants 3-1 at White Hart Lane.
Inter had hoped to mark the 23-year-old out of the game on Thursday night, but they are definitely without defenders Matías Silvestre and Yuto Nagatomo while serious doubts remain over the fitness of international centre-backs Andrea Ranocchia and Walter Samuel.
Manager Andrea Stramaccioni, who could also be without midfielder Fredy Guarin due to injury, has had to call six youth players up to his squad, reducing the Nerazzurri's chances of victory.
Tottenham squad: Lloris, Friedel, Walker, Naughton, Gallas, Dawson, Caulker, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Holtby, Livermore, Dembele, Carroll, Parker, Bale, Sigurdsson, Defoe, Adebayor.
