Thanks for joining me this evening, I hope you enjoyed the game. Stay on site for all the reaction.
Well I don't think I was only one who was expecting goals tonight but we never got them in the end. It was still a good game of football to watch nevertheless. Arsenal applied the pressure in the second half, but will be satisfied enough with a point, which leaves them in a commanding position to secure a top four place. Everton aren't out of it, but it will be tough for them to catch up now taking into consideration their remaining fixtures.
90+6 The referee lets play go on longer than scheduled but neither side can profit and it ends goalless here at the Emirates.
90+4 Gibson crosses but Mertesacker rises well to clear. Everton try to run down the final moments by bringing Oviedo on for Mirallas.
90+3 A foul from Monreal on Naismith earns him a yellow card and allows Everton to perhaps have the last chance of the game with the free-kick.
90+2 Naismith on for Anichebe.
Great battling from Jelavic to win the ball from Sagna having been second favourite. The ball is worked to Anichebe, who ambitiously goes for goal from distance and shoots well over.
90 Monreal on for Gibbs as four minutes of stoppage time are announced.
A fine move by Arsenal as they slice open the Everton defence. Arteta is left through on goal but he is far too hesitant and allows Coleman to get back and intercept.
They do break forward but Mirallas can't quite get his shot off. A sloppy pass from Gibson soon after ends their short spell.
The Everton defence clear temporarily but they are really up against it at the moment. It will be a case of them holding on to this point and hoping they get a chance to break and perhaps nick all three.
Podolski and Cazorla pass back and forth on the left edge of the box. One of the passes goes astray but the hosts still manage to win a corner.
Only five minutes left, can either side get a goal to claim a vital three points?
Arteta does really well to beat Mirallas on the left, but Ramsey clips Fellaini's heels as he tries to get on the end of the Spaniard's pass.
Mertesacker is involved as a few players challenge for the ball and it gets knocked behind. Referee decides it is a goal kick.
Has been an enjoyable game so far, the only thing it has lacked is goals. Don't rule them out yet though. Arsenal have a corner which Cazorla delivers.
Everton counter but Jelavic asks too much of Pienaar as the ball runs for Szczesny, although Anichebe puts the goalkeeper under intense pressure to clear.
Another chance for Giroud as he controls the ball well inside the box. Jagielka does well to put him off, but he should have done better once he had created that bit of space for himself to shoot. Didn't even hit the target.
Pienaar tries to turn but can't then find Fellaini and Arsenal break. Giroud and Podolski combine before Oxlade-Chamberlain squares across for the former, but it looks like it was Coleman who makes a vital interception to stop the striker finishing into an open net.
77 Jelavic is coming on for Barkley in an Everton change.
It's all Arsenal at the moment as Mirallas is the latest Everton players called into defensive action to clear from Podolski.
Ramsey involved again as he tries a little flick into the six-yard box but Howard closes down to gather well.
Ramsey has a headed chance, but it takes a deflection on its way over the bar. Another corner.
Podolski wins a corner for the hosts now, with his cross blocked by Fellaini.
Arsenal with possession on the edge of the box, but Fellaini does well to intercept Sagna's pass for Arteta.
Nothing comes of it and Everton look to move the ball forward.
Sagna's cross is charged down by Baines. Attacking throw on the right to come for Arsenal.
70 Barkley is booked for impeding Ramsey.
69 Double switch from Arsenal now, as Wilshere and Walcott are replaced by Oxlade-Chamberlain and Podolski.
Pressure from Ramsey forces Gibson to lose control of the ball and concede a throw.
Mertesacker and Szczesny calmly exchange passes in defence, despite the pressure applied from Anichebe.
So unlucky as Barkley's curling shot from outside the box narrowly misses the target after he did really well to skip away from both WIlshere and Arteta.
Baines' corner is cleared at the near post, but the ball is back with Everton.
Corner for Everton now as Mirallas' effort is deflected behind.
Anichebe is flagged offside as he tries to collect a long ball forward from Howard.
Sagna's cross from the left fails to acknowledge where Giroud is inside the box and the attack ends.
Coleman tracks back well to prevent Ramsey reaching the ball on the left wing, seeing it out for a goal kick.
Six attempts from each side so far, but Everton have had three on target compared to Arsenal's one.
Mertesacker can only poke wide from the corner.
Now a corner for Arsenal as Gibbs' pull-back is put behind by Jagielka.
Baines' free-kick hits the wall and Arsenal break magnificently. Walcott crosses for Giroud but it just behind him and he can't direct his touch towards goal.
56 Arsenal struggling at the back and Arteta is booked for a foul on Pienaar. More of concern for Arsenal though is the position of the free-kick, which is perfect for Baines.
Baines crosses superbly, but no Everton players attack the cross, partly due to some strong marking by the Arsenal defence.
Wilshere is slightly unlucky to be penalised for a foul on Mirallas, leaving Everton with a good crossing position from the left.
Arsenal break forward again with pace but Distin makes an excellent recovery tackle to clear the ball from Walcott inside the box.
Good work by Gibbs to get the better of both Coleman and Mirallas is followed by an effort by Giroud, who snatches at the chance and misses the target.
Howard pumps the ball forward for Anichebe but Mertesacker makes light work of beating the striker in the air to head back in the direction of the Everton goalkeeper.
Everton clear but it is Arsenal now pushing men forward into the attack.
Arsenal coming forward again but Jagielka is first to Gibbs' cross. The danger is not gone though and the ball falls to Cazorla who blasts at goal and Howard does well to beat wide.
Real intent from Everton at the start of this second half as they push right up into the Arsenal half.
Nice intricate passing in the middle of the park from Everton as they work the ball forward. A chance eventually falls for Pienaar, but he doesn't strike the ball cleanly and Szczesny is untroubled.
Everton kick off the second half.
From Memphis, Andy writes: "Feeling a 3-1 win for the Arsenal...Giroud brace and Cazorla to get us up 3-0 before Anichebe pulls one back in the 90th minute."
I'm afraid I have to agree with Jake, who writes: "Ramsey off - Chamberlain on. To be honest I have no idea why Ramsey gets a starting position in the first 11 every week, he's slow and has a terrible lack of awareness and vision this year. Chamberlains pace and creativity will see us come out victorious. #Afc "
Dan writes: "come on toffees, im expecting them to snarl arsenal 2-0 with goals from fellaini and anichebe"
Arsenal have drifted to evens to win the match now while Everton are 7/2 and the draw is priced at 6/4. One market which appeals to me at this stage is both teams to score. It may be goalless so far but expect that to change and the odds of 9/4 make that an appealing choice. Visit www.skybet.com to place your in-game bets.
A highly competitive game as you would expect, and Everton have certainly stopped Arsenal playing the game as they would like to, but equally the hosts have dealt well with the Tofees' attempts to physically overpower them. A draw is probably fair so far, with a couple of good opportunities for both sides, although Pienaar's early chance still stands out as the most noteworthy.
45+3 Arsenal have the last attack of the half, but Sagna's low cross is too close to Howard. All square at half time.
Distin looks forward but is forced to play it back to Howard under pressure from Ramsey.
Good defending by Jagielka to stop Giroud receiving the cross from the left. Two minutes to be added to this half.
Arsenal have come alive now and create another chance thanks to a wonderful run by WIlshere. He sets up Cazorla for the shot but Howard comes out well to block.
Arsenal respond with their first effort on goal and it is a great move. Cazorla finds Ramsey on the right with a clever pass, who hits an early cross into the box. Giroud reaches it with an outstretched leg but can only direct it wide of the goal. He is normally very clinical from those type of scenarios.
Another chance for Everton as Barkley does well to turn past Arteta and slip the ball through to Anichebe, but it looks as though Gibbs makes a vital intervention to stop the powerful striker getting clean contact on the ball.
Barkley goes for goal from just outside the area with a curling effort but it lack the power to catch out Szczesny, who holds.
Wilshere slips as he tries to give a return pass to Giroud. The striker chases down the loose ball with Coleman and needlessly slides in to the Everton man after the ball had gone out but he escapes any action from the referee.
Cazorla's delivery is dangerous but Fellaini is there to get vital head on the ball and the chance ends.
35 Starting to heat up here now as Pienaar goes into the book for a bad challenge on Walcott. Good crossing opportunity for Arsenal.
Huge screams for Gibson to be shown a second yellow card for completely blocking Walcott's run, but he is just told to calm it down by the referee.
Ramsey's pass towards Gibbs on the left wing is overcooked and goes out of play.
Mirallas is called offside after a fluent attack which the Belgian started in his own half by skillfully beating Gibbs.
A mistake by Mirallas gifts possession to Arsenal.
Coleman crosses with quite a few Everton players in the box but Koscielny does well to cut it out.
Wilshere crosses but Fellaini is unchallenged as he heads clear.
28 Free-kick in a good crossing position on the right for Arsenal as Gibson fouls Walcott badly. He recieves a yellow card.
Possession changing hands frequently in the last few minutes, with neither side able to keep hold of the ball.
Wilshere makes an attacking run through the centre but is shrugged off the ball by Fellaini, despite his claims for a free-kick.
Fellaini bizarrely clears the ball straight to the Arsenal attack. Cazorla sets up Gibbs on the left edge of the box but the full back's effort goes over.
Sagna and Ramsey combine on the right wing for the hosts to win a throw in.
Koscielny stands strong to stop Anichebe turning past him on the edge of the box, and Arsenal pass their way out of defence very nicely.
Mirallas gets involved again in a deeper position, challenging Gibbs and winning a throw in as his reward.
There has only been one noteworthy chance so far, and that fell to Pienaar who will feel he should have done a lot better.
Mirallas tracks back excellently to win the ball for Everton. The visitors have really stopped Arsenal getting into any rhythm so far tonight.
Back on his feet now and will come back on once play is resumed.
Worrying scenes for Arsenal now as Wilshere looks very hurt after a 50-50 challenge with Barkley.
Koscielny looks for Giroud on the left, but the pass is too powerful and the French striker can't control.
Barkley and Cazorla tussle in midfield and the Spaniard suffers a knock but he looks like he will be okay to continue.
Not many would have expected the visitors to have had the most of the ball so far, but that is the case with Everton having 55% possession in this first quarter of an hour.
Arsenal come forward again but nobody is in the six-yard box to recieve Cazorla's squared pass.
Walcott finds himself one-on-one with Baines on the edge of the box, but rather than go for a run he opts to pass inside to Wilshere, who is crowded out and can't keep hold of the ball.
Fellaini gets his head to a Baines' cross, but it is an uncomfortable effort and falls for the Arsenal defence to clear.
Another foul from Fellaini, this time Ramsey is the victim.
Gibson crosses from the left and the Arsenal defence is almost caught out but Szczesny shows good awareness to come out and smother the ball before an Everton attacker can get a foot to it.
Fellaini concedes a free-kick for a blatant foul on Wilshere.
The first chance of the game falls to Pienaar, who gets in behind the Arsenal defence and beats Szczesny to the ball, but blazes over the crossbar.
Fellaini does well to get the better of Wilshere in midfield. Coleman then wins an attacking throw off the legs of Gibbs.
Free-kick for Arsenal in a defensive position as Anichebe uses his strength a bit too much to take Sagna out of contention.
Everton forward now as Mirallas runs into the box but he can't keep up with the ball and Szczesny gathers. Good pressure from Koscielny.
Ramsey creates the space well for a cross on the right but his delivery is poor and travels out of play.
Fellaini is penalised for a foul on Arteta.
Koscielny is forced to clear the ball for an Everton throw inside Arsenal's half.
Anichebe wins the ball in an advanced position for the visitors, but he is dispossessed easily enough by Sagna.
Arsenal get us underway.
Right, just moments from kick off now as we observe a minute's silence.

I was going to tip a Gunners victory, but I think it will be a draw tonight. The return of Szczesny and the fitness doubts surrounding Wilshere put me off backing the hosts so I recommend a 2-2 draw, which you can get with at 16/1. Giroud may be worth backing as the game's first goalscorer though - that has been enhanced to 6/1 in just one of Sky Bet's priceboosts prior to kick off.
@Flynng1999 tweets: "everton to win 2-1"
The Emirates has not been the happiest of hunting grounds for David Moyes' men in recent seasons, with Arsenal (4/6) winning four out of their last five home games with Everton (17/4). Four of the last five meetings between these sides have been won by a margin of just one goal, with Arsenal 11/4 to repeat that feat, while the visitors are a 5/1 shot to do likewise.
@JoelMacey95 tweets: "I'm predicting 3-2 Arsenal, Giroud, Walcott and Cazorla for Arsenal, Anichebe and Fellaini for Everton. COYG!!!"
Arsenal starting line-up: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Joscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, Walcott, Giroud.
Everton starting line-up: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Mirallas, Gibson, Barkley, Pienaar, Fellaini, Anichebe.
This game could have a big say on who finishes in the top four. Arsenal (3rd) are currently four points clear of Everton (6th) but the visitors could close that gap to just a point with victory here tonight. Both teams arrive in extremely good form so we should be in store for a thrilling game.
