Chelsea will go into their UEFA Europa League quarter-final second leg against Rubin Kazan with a healthy 3-1 advantage thanks in large to a brace from Fernando Torres. Fernando Torres bundled home the first after 16 minutes for his 17th goal of the season before Victor Moses lashed in a stunning second. However, the visitors pulled one back when John Terry was penalised by referee Gianluca Rocchi for a handball. Bebars Natcho made no mistake from the spot four minutes from the break. Chelsea will be looking to kill Rubin Kazan off tonight and they're coming forward in numbers again.
Torres has hit a purple patch for the Blues and is enjoying the service, although some of the defending has been poor.
Fernando Torres scores his second goal of the night to put Chelsea in a comfortable position. He climbs high to head home Juan Mata's left-wing cross after starting the move.
GOAL!!! FERNANDO TORRES
Dhairya Kapadia is also back in touch to say: "Haha guess that's just my wishful thinking, but Chelsea need to dominate and capitalise on this lead, COYB!"

Chelsea do have a good record against Russian sides, having won all four of their previous meetings and Rubin are only visiting London for the second time having lost 1-0 to Tottenham in the Europa League last season.

Vitaly Kaleshin gives away a cheap free-kick after good tracking back from Yossi Benayoun.
Bebars Natcho finds Jose Rondon and he spreads the ball out wide as the Russians happily keep possession of the ball.
After watching a few replays of that opening goal Dhairya, the more I think Fernando Torres' effort was bundled in by the Rubin defender. The striker will claim anything at the moment though!
Dhairya Kapadia emails in to say: "Chelsea just need to be a bit more rock solid, maybe score a few more. Nando getting another? Haha COYB!"
Victor Moses goes over in the box, but referee Gianluca Rocchi waves play on.
Rubin hadn't conceded a goal in five games in all competitions, going into tonight's encounter. The last time they did so was against Atletico Madrid at the end of February, but the way Chelsea are splicing their way through that backline shows a difference in class.
Rafa Benitez's men have made a bight start to this half as they look to add to their tally. They will certainly need a handsome lead heading to Moscow next week.
GerryLeeGwynn Tweets: "The Chelsea Faithfull to roar Chelsea on to a sounding victory."
Moments later Juan Mata turns provider as his left-foot delivery is headed over by Yossi Benayoun.

Guess who has come on for Rubin Kazan Lee? Yep, you've guessed it, Jose Rondon has replaced Vladimir Dyadyun.
Just to let you know that John Terry was booked by referee Gianluca Rocchi for handling the ball in the box when Rubin were awarded that penalty. Seemed a bit harsh I have to say!
Well Lee, I have a feeling he may be used later in the game. The Venezuelan striker Rondon is the second highest scorer left in the competition with five goals since the start of the group stage. He was Malaga's top-scorer last season with 11 league goals before he was sold on to Rubin.
@leerwilson Tweets: "Any guess why Rondon did not start for Rubin Kazan?"

Just the ONE added minute of stoppage time at Stamford Bridge.
Cristian Daniel Ansaldi is not afriad to have a go from distance and he has Cech stumbling across his goal to cover his latest drive.
The Russians have a vital away goal as the number 66 slots his effort from 12 yards past Petr Cech.
Penalty to Rubin Kazan! Cristian Daniel Ansaldi's shot hits John Terry on the arm and referee Gianluca Rocchi points to the spot. That seemed a bit harsh!
Rubin have an impressive pedigree in this season's Europa League. The Russian club toppled Inter Milan to top Group H. Kurban Berdyev's men continued their excellent form by disposing of holders Atletico Madrid in the round of 32 and then their Spanish compatriots Levante in the last round.
The bigger the lead Chelsea can take to Moscow the better. Roman Eremenko's shot from long-range is always flying over the crossbar.
Rafa Benitez is making a few notes as his opposite number Kurban Berdyev holds his prayer beads and he needs them with this scoreline.
RJ Mayson emails in to say: "When did Torres get the other 17 GOALS, as you say this is his 18th, but still very welcome."

Great timing. Goalkeeper Sergey Ryzhikov makes a mess of Moses' initial header and when the ball is headed up in the air, the midfielder takes the ball down on his chest before blasting his right-foot shot into the roof of the net. Great goal!!
GOAL!!! VICTOR MOSES
