Defender Ryan McGivern returns from suspension, while midfield duo Gary Deegan (foot) and Scott Robertson (knock) are in contention after returning to training this week.

Hibs manager Pat Fenlon, who will hope for an improvement after to 0-0 draw with Aberdeen on Monday, will consider resting defender Tim Clancy and midfielder Kevin Thomson.

On loan St Mirren striker Esmael Goncalves is available for the Premier League match with Hibernian at Easter Road, after completing his suspension.

The Buddies will be without captain Jim Goodwin for the match, following his dismissal in the 2-1 reverse to Dundee last weekend.

Lee Mair is likely to take his place in the heart of the defence, as St Mirren chase the victory that would secure their top flight status and relegate Dundee.
