FT: Vietnam 1 Arsenal 7

The referee blows for full-time here in Hanoi. Another pleasing win for Wenger's men, who win 7-1 here today thanks to Giroud's first-half hat-trick.

Shot from Sa which just flies over the bar for Vietnam.

Walcott drills the free-kick high over the bar.

Two minutes of added-on time here.

Red card for Ngoc after the Vietnam keeper saves with his hands about 20 yards out of his goal.

Chance for Vietnam, but the shot drifts over the bar. The hosts are probably enjoying their best football of the match over the last five minutes!

Meanwhile, the heavens have absolutely opened here and the rain is driving down. There's several claps of thunder too, which are echoing round the stadium!

Martinez makes good save to prevent swerving shot making it 2-7.

Poor old Dung! The striker sees his moment of glory briefly spoiled by the referee, who books him for whipping off his shirt during his moment of jubilation! I wish FIFA/UEFA would do away with this rule!

DUNG GOAL! The crowd go absolutely wild as Dung's volley deceives Martinez and loops into the goal!

Dung scores!

MIQUEL GOAL! Tidy goal from the Gunners, who break down the left before teeing up the Spanish youngster to drill home low into the net.

Miquel scores to make it 0-7.

Great chance for Walcott, but the England man fires his shot wide.

The latest changes means Wenger has no used 23 of the 24 players who have gone on tour. Fabianski is the only player yet to get on the field!

Szczesny off and Martinez on, Olsson on, Jenkinson off.

Wilshere comes on for Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Mertesacker's header from the resulting corner is well saved by the Vietnam keeper.

Akpom's shot is headed over the bar to deny the teenager a quick-fire hat-trick.

Good block from Sagna prevents Vietnam striker's shot getting through on goal.

Chance for Walcott, but goalkeeper rushes out to smother the danger.

The Gunners - with three goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half - look like they'll net every time they get possession at the moment.

AKPOM GOAL! Akpom sidefoots into empty net after textbook Arsenal build-up play rips apart the Vietnam defence.

Akpom scores again to make it 0-6!

AKPOM GOAL! 17-year-old shows good composure in the box to turn inside his marker and curl low effort into bottom corner. Goal was created by Ramsey, who had slipped him in with a fine pass.

Akpom makes it 0-5

The Gunners are absolutely bossing it now with Ramsey showing some deft control in the centre of midfield.

Decent ball into the box by Vietnam, but the attacker goes for the volley when a header was the easier option. Danger subsequently cleared by Arsenal.

Shot by Akpom - one of several HT substitutes for the Gunners - is well held by the Vietnam keeper.

Mazy run from Walcott almost creates an opportunity.

OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN GOAL! Fine finish from the Arsenal man, who curls home into top corner from edge of box. First touch of the ball for the substitute keeper is to pick the ball up out the back of his net!

Oxlade-Chamberlain scores to make it 0-4.

Zelalem, Ramsey and Walcott are on for the Gunners in the second half.

Second half kicks off.

Vietnam have made no less than eight changes at half-time.

The half-time whistle blows.

GIROUD GOAL! Tidy finish from the Frenchman, who lifts a neat finish over the advancing keeper to seal an impressive hat-trick.

Giroud hat-trick makes it 0-3!

Excellent chance for Vietnam after a cross from the right is drilled across the area but an outstretched boot cannot force Szczesny into action.

GIROUD GOAL! Jenkinson's cross into the box is only half cleared and Giroud curls a first-time shot into the roof of the net for his second of the game. Good finish!

Giroud scores to make it 0-2!

Shot from Vietnam but it curls well wide of goal with Szczesny untroubled.

Podolski's drilled shot from the left side of the area strikes the post. The Vietnam keeper then makes a good save to block the follow-up shot from Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Gnabry intercepts and gets play moving forward the other end. The attack soon fizzles out.

Arteta's 25-yard free-kick curls over the wall but also over the Vietnam crossbar.

Free-kick to Arsenal 25 yards out.

Excellent tracking back from Sagna, who out-runs his opponent before sliding to get the ball away from the Vietnam attacker.

It's Giroud flagged offside this time as Rosicky leads a quick attack into the Vietnam final third.

Gibbs gets caught offside following a cross-field pass.

More good play from Sagna in defence prevents Vietnam getting a shot in on goal. It may only be a pre-season match, but the French full-back looks very comfortable in the heart of defence today.

Gnabry's low cross is cut out by the Vietnam defence.

Free-kick is curled into the box, but Sagna reads play well and leaps to head the ball clear.

Free-kick to Vietnam right on the edge of the box.

Chance for Podolski as play switches down the other end. The German skips round two tackles, but tries to set-up Giroud instead of taking on the shot himself.

First shot from the hosts as the left-winger beats a couple of challenges before firing his shot wide of goal.

Sloppy play from Gnabry gifts the hosts possession but again the attack breaks down.

Pace seems to have slowed a little here, but then it's very hot and humid, so probably comes as no surprise.

Good defending from Koscielny keeps the Vietnamese at bay.

Podolski again denied a shooting chance by an offside flag - the decision this time is correct.

Arsenal again on the attack with Giroud looking dangerous. Vietnam clear the danger.

Gibbs indicates he's OK to continue but doesn't look to be moving freely.

Injury to Gibbs. He went down holding his back.

And right on cue, he shows some trickery on the right side to dink a cross over to Podolski, but he can't keep his 12-yard header on target.

Still waiting to see more from Gnabry! He's been working hard so far but has yet to stamp his mark on the game.

Another attack builds until Arteta carelessly loses possession.

When Vietnam do get possession they are finding space in behind the Arsenal midfield. The Gunners will have to be on their guard to build on their clean sheet on Sunday.

The Gunners look well in control here and are spreading play from left to right.

Oxlade-Chamberlain tries his luck but his low shot is comfortably held by the hosts' goalkeeper.

Vietnam finally gain possession but the ball harmessly is played into touch for an Arsenal throw-in.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky and Arteta are pulling the strings in midfield now as Giroud lets fly with a 25-yarder which fails to test the keeper.

The Gunners look comfy now after that early goal and Podolski is unlucky to be flagged offside after being played through on goal.

GIROUD GOAL! The Frenchman gets Arsenal off to a good start, rifling home with his first touch of the game after a Rosicky pass. It's his third goal of the tour.

GOAL! Giroud scores.

Vietnam again on the attack and it takes an interception from Podolski to prevent the hosts breaking through on Szczesny's goal.

Vietnam certainly look tidy on the ball and a dubious offside flag denies the hosts down the right side in what would've been a promising position.

Bright start by Vietnam who attack down the left-side of the Arsenal defence. The threat is easily seen off by Kieran Gibbs though as the Gunners take possession.

And finally we kick-off in a hot and humid Hanoi.

It's a 40,000 sell-out in Hanoi for this one as the Gunners face the team ranked 145th on the latest FIFA rankings. It's a good opportunity for Serge Gnabry to impress. He's selected in the Arsenal midfield and the teenager will be eager to showcase his talents.

Arsenal subs today are Fabianski, Martinez, Miquel, Mertesacker, Aneke, Ramsey, Walcott, Akpom, Wilshere, Zelalem, Ryo, Eisfeld, Olsson
