The home side took the lead against their Sky Bet Championship opponents after just 12 minutes when Scott Hogan got the better of Scott Dann and fired home.

New Blackburn signing Alan Judge then rattled the post with a curling free-kick before the lead was doubled three minutes after the break thanks to Peter Vincenti - a summer acquisition from Aldershot.

DJ Campbell pulled a goal back in the 61st minute, just seconds after stepping off the bench, and a minute into added time Pedersen curled home a free-kick from 20 yards out.
