Blackpool handed a first start to their new signing Bobby Grant and the former Rochdale man forced a save from Michael Ingham early on.

Nathan Eccleston then fired straight at Ingham before being denied again after being set up by Craig Cathcart, who went on to head a great chance over the crossbar as the first half ended goalless.

Against the run of play Michael Coulson opened the scoring for York in the 55th minute from 20 yards out but the Sky Bet Championship side immediately when down the other end and Grant nodded home the equaliser.
