New striker Andreas Cornelius opened the scoring just before the quarter-hour mark and Nicky Maynard headed a second for Malky Mackay's men, but James Norwood's goal reduced the deficit before half-time.

Peter Whittingham's penalty made it 3-1 and although Danny Wright pulled one back, Craig Noone's impressive finish restored the visitors' two-goal advantage.

However winger Matt Taylor netted with 15 minutes remaining to conclude the scoring at the New Lawn.
