Sarah 'Crusoe' Robinson: My predictions for todays match is 2-1 [to Arsenal]. Looking forward to todays match after our last win :D

Marie Breeze: I'm expecting a 3-1 result today with Ozil to get a debut goal and also giroud to snatch the other two. And just before the end of the game Steven Fletcher to score a consolation COYG!!

Dileep: Hello. Hopefully Ozil will make his debut today against Sunderland. I believe he is a positive signing for the Gunners, as Arsenal are a very attacking side. If he starts today Di Canio's side need to be aware of his talent because he could cause a lot of problems for Sunderland. However, Sunderland have made good signings this summer and they too could cause problems for Arsenal. My prediction is 1-2 to Arsenal.

Sunderland are proving friendless in the betting ahead of their clash with Arsenal. The Black Cats have drifted from 7/2 to 4/1 as punters pile into 4/6 shots Arsenal, who have lost only one of their last nine Premier League matches on Wearside. Oliver Giroud has scored in each of the Gunners league matches this term and is 7/2 to net the opener with new signing Mesut Ozil 8/1 to break the deadlock on his debut.

Feel free to e-mail your thoughts or predictions to chris.vermeulen@teamtalkmedia.com and we'll publish as many of them before - and during - the game as possible.

In Arsenal team news, record signing Mesut Ozil makes his debut from the start, while Flamini is also handed his first start since making his return to the club. The injured Thomas Vermaelen and Nacho Monreal are back on the bench, but on-loan goalkeeper Viviano has not made the squad.

Sunderland make a couple of changes to their side from the 3-1 loss the Crystal Palace. O'Shea of course will serve suspension, while Wickham drops to the bench and Giaccherini is out of the squad completely. Fletcher comes into the starting line-up alongside Roberge and Mavrias. New signing Fabio Borini is on the bench, but there is no place in the squad for fellow new boy Dossena.

Arsene Wenger, though, has plenty of absentees to deal with as Lukas Podolski, Mikel Arteta, Thomas Vermaelen and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all out injured. New goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano is expected to be named on the bench, with Wojciech Szczesny still considered Wenger's first-choice goalkeeper.

Mesut Ozil is expected to make his Arsenal debut after making his €50 million move to the Emirates as the Gunners look to add to their four-match winning streak, having most recently seen off bitter rivals Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium to go fourth in the Premier League.

The Black Cats are still looking for their first victory - having drawn one and lost two of their opening three games. Paolo Di Canio could hand debuts to deadline day signings Fabio Borini and Andrea Dossena following the Italian's mass overhaul of the Sunderland squad after their close brush with relegation last season.

Good afternoon, I'm Chris Vermeulen and I'll be taking you through all the action as Sunderland host Arsenal at the Stadium of Light. Kick-off is scheduled for 1500 BST.
