Live: Manchester United 1 West Brom 2

Thanks for joining me. Full report and reaction will follow. Goodbye.

FT: Manchester United 1 West Brom 2. An unlikely, but deserved victory for the Baggies. Excellent throughout. United never really got going. Pressure on Moyes is mounting...

Januzaj does well to beat his man, makes room for the shot, but curls just wide with his left foot.

Penalty claims waved away as Carrick thunders an effort at goal, but Myhill is equal to it once again.

Four minutes added...

Diego Lugano comes on for West Brom in place of Anichebe.

OFFSIDE GOAL! Fellaini thought he had drawn United level, tapping Nani's cross in, but he is adjudged to be offside. Correct decision.

Januzaj uses his pace to beat his man, fires a low shot at goal, which Myhill gets down well to block.

Nani gets to the byline, beats Myhill with his pullback but Olsson gets back to clear off the line. Excellent defending.

CHANCE! Sessegnon again the dangerman, has time and space of the edge of the box but slices wide.

Van Persie again in the thick of the action, trying to flick Nani's near-post cross past Myhill, but can't quite get the direction required.

Van Persie gets his first sight of goal, but cannot latch onto a through pass. Too heavy.

Fellaini is on for Anderson. Poor performance again from the midfielder.

Long balls not coming off for United at the moment. Need to try something else. Too easy for the visitors.

Late challenge from Buttner, who also goes into the book.

Seven of West Brom's last 11 Premier League goals have come against United.

After such a solid defensive display on Wednesday, United looking really shaky at the back. Ferdinand the issue?

And the visitors are not stopping there. Still breaking on the counter-attack, still throwing men forward. United here for the taking.

Another excellent move from the Baggies, with Berahino drilling into the bottom corner from the edge of the box to send the visiting fans into raptures.

GOAL!!! Manchester United 1 West Brom 2 (Berahino 67).

SAVE! From the resulting free-kick, Amalfitano almost finds the top corner, but De Gea just manages to get across and top the ball over the top.

Sessegnon's pace is causing United all sorts of problems, and Jones has to bring him down to stop him. Definite booking.

Another opportunity for the visitors, with Sessegnon found in space on the edge of the box, but he gets underneath it.

Really good tempo to the game now, with the visitors not holding back and settling for a point.

POST! Jonas Olsson meets a corner from the left, heads the ball into the ground, but sees his effort come back of the frame of the goal.

Van Persie makes his way onto the pitch, with Hernandez making way.

Timely equaliser from Rooney, whose free-kick from the left evades everyone, and flies into the net. Hernandez very cleverly ducks to fool Myhill.

GOAL!!! Manchester United 1 West Brom 1 (Rooney 58)

RvP ready to come on. United need to change things up here, otherwise the pressure will be mounting on Moyes.

Wonderful individual goal from the Frenchman, running at the heart of United's defence, nutmegs Rio Ferdinand and clips the ball over De Gea. Have to say it is deserved.

GOAL!!! Manchester United 0 West Brom 1 (Amalfitano 54)

Anderson sums up United's day so far, blasting a volley way over the bar. He has done little to convince the doubters he has what it takes this afternoon.

United don't seem to have injected any more pace into their game. Still comfortable for the visitors.

CHANCE! Sessegnon does brilliantly, beating three men, working space for the shot, but elects to play in Berahino, who from a tight angle can't beat De Gea, who saves with his feet.

We are underway in the second half. Interesting to see what shape United adopt now.

Januzaj comes on for Kagawa. Different kind of threat for United.

Shane B wants changes: "Need to get Januzaj and RVP on ASAP or they could drop points again here."

United looking a little flat here. What does Moyes have to do to win this match?

HT: Manchester United 0 West Brom 0. Poor game in truth. Visitors have had the best chances in reality. United lacking a real cutting edge. Nani delivering well from the right, but nobody on the end of his crosses.

Three additional minutes...

MISS! Sessegnon has a great chance to put the visitors in front just before the interval, but somehow blasts over from a yard out. Was free at the backpost from a flick on.

United work it well down the left, with Kagawa running onto a lofted Rooney pass, and finds Buttner whose shot is blocked.

Sloppy from Anderson in the middle of the park, over-hitting a simple pass to Nani, conceding possession.

Amalfitano has been very impressive so far, completing four of his five crosses. System working well for the Baggies.

Great feet from Kagawa, who is coming into the match more and more, but he doesn't quite catch hold of his shot, and Myhill easily gets down to save.

Nani this time gets on the end of a cross in the box, but his header cannons back off Olsson. Momentum is building.

From a West Brom free-kick, United swiftly counter, and Kagawa finds Anderson, who sees his header come back off the bar. Flag is raised for offside, which replays show to be incorrect.

That man Nani has really brought his crossing boots this afternoon. Right on the money once more, but Rooney can only head over. Real desire to get there.

CHANCE! Best opportunity of the match falls to the visitors, as Berahino heads just wide from a wonderful cross from Amalfitano. Great chance for the youngster to make a name for himself.

Jonas Olsson has been patched up Wayne Rooney style, and really looks intimidating with a blood-stained shirt on!

Pace of the game has really slowed down. United can't seem to find a way through at the moment.

Nani once again looking United's most potent weapon. Well-disguised pass plays Phil Jones in, but his pullback is blocked out for a corner.

Free-kick won by Rooney in a dangerous position. Nani whips another pinpoint centre into the box, Rooney gets up, but heads straight at Myhill.

Some passes going astray at the moment. Even the normally reliable Michael Carrick is guilty of misplacing a simple one.

Another great ball in from Nani evades everyone. Hernandez will surely capitalise if this service continues.

United not really threatening, and the visitors have had more of the ball than predicted pre-match. Very even so far.

Chicharito is again the target, with Nani this time delivering an excellent cross, which just evades the Mexican hitman, and Myhill gathers low to his right.

And on the break, Rooney picks out Nani, who almost has too much time, and with Hernandez screaming for it at the backpost, he elects to shoot, and it is easily blocked.

Great play from Sessegnon down the right. Gets all the way to the way byline, but cannot get his pullback through, and it is just about cleared. Real chance for the visitors.

Early change as Scott Sinclair's Manchester nightmare continues. He is forced off holding his hamstring. Berahino comes on in his place.

Mulumbu is the first in Michael Oliver's book for a late challenge. Treading carefully now.

This also comes to nothing as McAuley gets up and clears away. Strong defending from the big man.

Lovely ball into Rooney from Carrick. The skipper can't control however, and is dispossessed, and goes out for United's first corner.

Ferdinand's header is misplaced, and goes out for a West Brom corner. Opportunity is wasted however, as the cross is too deep, and is easily cleared.

Visitors on the attack for the first time. Buttner does well to track Sessegnon and force the ball out for a throw.

Nani is found in space on the edge of the box by a clever Kagawa pass, but his powerful effort is blocked.

Rooney is already dropping very deep. Looking to create from midfield. Having alot of the ball so far.

We are underway...

Scott Sinclair is back in Manchester. Can he have more of an impact today?

No Vidic today. First time the Ferdinand/Vidic partnership has been broken up this season.

The teams are making their way onto the pitch now.

Husayn Shabaz has tweeted in: "United needs to step up its now or never for United."

Carrick has also made the most passes in the opposition half (233), one more than Tottenham's Kyle Walker and Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey.

Michael Carrick could be key today. He has made 26 interceptions this season, eight more than any other top-flight player.

Only in two previous Premier League seasons have United won only two of their opening six games (2002-03 & 2004-05).

Sun is shining at Old Trafford on a warm afternoon in Manchester. Will David Moyes suffer in the heat?

Christopher Green is confident: "Should be an easy game for United as we're the home team, but West Brom have nothing to lose, so this could be a tough fixture for us if we underestimate the Baggies. 4-1 United my prediction #ComeOnUnited."

United are hot 2/7 favourites to bounce back from their hammering in the Manchester derby. The Baggies are as big as 10/1 and the draw 9/2. Full odds:

Adnan Khahill isn't happy with the line-up! "Why is Anderson starting?!! This guy should not be anywhere near the United team. He is simply awful."

Rooney captain once again. He has scored two of the four longest range goals in the Premier League this season.

SUBS: Evra, Welbeck, van Persie, Valencia, Fellaini, Amos, Januzaj.

Manchester United XI v West Brom: De Gea, Jones, Ferdinand, Evans, Buttner; Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Kagawa; Rooney (C), Chicharito.

Van Persie back on the bench for the champions.

SUBS: L.Daniels, Dawson, Popov, Lugano, Rosenberg, Berahino, Dorrans.

West Brom XI v Manchester United: Myhill, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Yacob, Mulumbu, Amalfitano, Sessegnon, Sinclair, Anichebe.

Attack-looking West Brom side named, with a three-pronged forward-line potentially causing the Red Devils problems.

Hernandez keeps his place in the United starting XI. Also, Anderson also gets a recall.

The teams are in....

Terry Jeffrey sees a United win: "Having seen the line ups I am predicting a United win but a close fought match i'll say 2-1 to United although I don't get the thinking from Moyes for putting Anderson in a defensive role, Why not use Fellaini? he cost us enough to get and atm thats an expensive subs seat. nice to see Hernandez getting a much deserved start though.

However, Manchester United have scored 37 goals in 14 Premier League games against the visitors. More today?

United have conceded 11 goals in their last six Premier League games, one more than they had in their previous 18 games. Can the Baggies cause the champions problems this afternoon?

These sides shared a Premier League record 5-5 draw the last time they met. Unlikely to see a repeat today!
