1
Sunderland get us underway at the Stadium of Light.

The two teams are on the pitch shaking hands, so don't go anywhere as this game is moments away from getting underway.

Under five minutes to go until kick-off in Sunderland now. There's been plenty of confident United fans getting in touch, but after last weekend's improved display against Liverpool, the hosts could be a tough nut to crack, especially with a vociferous home crowd behind them. Thanks to all who have emailed and Tweeted in the build-up.

Thanks to Jakob Eyflojuur who has emailed in predicting a close game. He says: It's a tough one to separate, but I think Kevin Ball knows what he's doing by not playing the youth when you need a win, you can play them when you've definitely succeeded the position but I'm going for a 2-2 draw, Rooney with a brace and Giaccherini to score. If United lose then Moyes will have to think about his future."

Matthew Canavan (@Mcanavan14) has Tweeted to say: "Reckon United will get back on track with a 4-0 win. The fact Moyes doesn't know how to fit Kagawa in his team is worrying."

Preview:
We're just under half-an-hour away from kick-off at the Stadium of Light. In the meantime, why not have a read of our preview to whet the appetite for tonight's game?

Thom Bancroft from Manchester has also emailed in. He says: "I'm glad to see Jones given a start at centre back. All that praise from Fergie and Sir Bobby and I just haven't seen it yet. Maybe a good run at centre half is what he needs. Weds was a team going back to basics to get a result. Let's hope for a bit more attacking impetus tonight and I'm going for a 3-0 win."

Thanks to Josh Lucarelli who has emailed in to say: "Januzaj's first start and about time too, guy's got potential! Hope he rips it up out there today - 3 nil United. Sunderland may snatch a goal but I hope not! GGMU"

STATS:
Manchester United have never lost a game at the Stadium of Light and they haven't lost three Premier League ties in a row for almost 12 years, meaning that David Moyes would come under even further scrutiny should his men fall to defeat tonight.

STATS:
Not since March 1997 have Sunderland enjoyed victory over the Red Devils, although the Black Cats' captain that day was none other than current caretaker boss Kevin Ball. His side are rooted to the foot of the table having only picked up one point from their opening six, but they face a United side who have had their worst start to a campaign for 24 years.

MUFC subs:
Lindegaard, Giggs, Smalling, Hernandez, Welbeck, Valencia, Kagawa.

SAFC subs:
Cabral, Larsson, Wickham, Cuellar, Dong-won, Borini, Mannone.

MUFC XI:
De Gea; Rafael, Evra, Vidic, Jones; Carrick, Cleverley, Januzaj, Nani; Rooney, van Persie.

SAFC XI:
