Cristian Montano is expected to return to the Latics' matchday squad when they host league leaders Orient.

The Oldham winger has missed the past two games after he underwent an operation to have a cyst drained, but was back in training on Thursday ahead of the meeting with the unbeaten O's.

Manager Lee Johnson could call on central defender Genseric Kusunga, who also returned to training this week after missing a fortnight due to a hamstring problem.

Midfielder David Mellor completes his three-match ban and will available for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Preston in midweek but full-back Connor Brown (knee) remains on the sidelines.

O's boss Russell Slade will be forced into one change when his table toppers head to Oldham.

Romain Vincelot is suspended following his red card in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Walsall which brought an end to the O's 100% start to the season.

On-loan Burnley midfielder Marvin Bartley is set to step in for what will be his full league debut for the Londoners.

Scott Cuthbert (hip), Mathieu Baudry (head), Shaun Batt (virus) and Jayden Stockley (knee) all came through late fitness checks in time to face the Saddlers and should be available again.
