FT: Stoke 0 West Brom 0

The referee brings an entertaining game to a close then, and both sides must settle for a 0-0 draw. It could have been much more for both with Stephane Sessegnon particularly impressive, while Stephen Ireland could've scored for the home side.

Final sub as Palacios replaces Arnautovic.

Sessegnon does brilliantly and nearly finds the winner for West Brom, but Begovic makes himself big and saves excellently.

The game appears to be petering out here with Stoke camped in West Brom's half.

West Brom still pressing forward in search of a winner, as Mulumbu's curling effort drifts just wide.

Arnautovic goes so close for Stoke from Ireland's cross after an excellent break from the home side.

West Brom's turn now to apply the pressure with Stoke boxed in.

Wilson's first action is to head out for a corner, from which Begovic is fortunate to escape unscathed after coming to claim but missing the ball.

Mark Wilson takes to the field in place of Charlie Adam.

Sessegnon's powerful 25-yard hit is easily claimed by Begovic.

West Brom's final change is Shane Long on for Victor Anichebe.

Wilkinson receives a yellow for a foul on Sessegnon.

Ambitious effort from Adam but so close. From his own half he attempts to lob Myhill, but the keeper gets back just in time to tip it over.

Begovic comfortably claims Yacob's long-ranger.

Stoke are beginning to take control now, but they desperately need a goal to avoid more late heart-ache.

Huge chance for Stoke. The ball is cut back for Ireland who blazes over. Should be 1-0.

West Brom make a couple of changes of their own, with Anelka and Morrison replacing Berahino and Amalfitano.

Kenwyne Jones is on for Jonathan Walters.

Penalty shout for the visitors. Mulumbu breaks into the area and is felled by Adam, who appeared to step on his heel.

Mulumbu and Yacob combine to great effect to escape the pressing game of Stoke, giving Sessegnon the space to pick out Ridgewell, who's cross is easily caught.

Ireland plucks the ball excellently from the sky and sends a through ball in for Walters, but it's a touch too long. Agonising for Stoke.

Begovic claims the corner brilliantly. Great work.

Amalfitano's deep ball in following Sessegnon's run is headed behind by Shawcross. Good decision.

Stoke kick us off for the second-half then, as both sides will look to build on promising opening periods.

Great, even first half from both sides then, and they've both had chances. Sessegnon and Arnautovic look bright as creative sparks for their respective sides, while Stoke will be thanking Begovic for a clean sheet in the first 45.

Very bright end to the first-half for Stoke, Nzonzi flashing a placed effort just wide.

Anichebe rises highest to head clear from the resultant free-kick.

Arnautovic goes for an ambitious first-time volley on the edge of the area but skews it well wide.

Great chance for the home side. A very clever free-kick tricks the Baggies back-line and Ireland's low effort is well-saved. Best chance for Stoke so far.

Deep corner from Stoke falls to the head of Adam, but he heads it well over.

The game is gradually starting to open up for both sides here, but only West Brom have worked a clear-cut chance. Stoke still looking good on the ball.

Excellent composure from Pieters to bamboozle Anichebe and lose his man, playing Stoke out of a potential spot of bother. Good, even game so far.

Anichebe tracks back excellently to retrieve the ball before laying off to Sessegnon. He keeps his cool to lay it off to Amalfitano, but Begovic is out so quickly.

Stoke in the ascendancy now, with Arnautovic looking particularly impressive. Nzonzi header comfortably saved.

Stoke break quickly down the other side, and Myhill does well to keep out Walters' low drive.

Sessegnon breaks clear again in the area after great work from the two front-men, but Begovic gets down well to save.

Arnautovic and Wilkinson combine effectively down the right to create an opening, but the latter's cross is headed away.

Shaky moment at the back for Begovic with Berahino closing down, but he does well to get it clear.

The game has settled a little more now as both sides enjoy periods of possession.

Snapshot effort from Sessegnon is driven over and wide, but promising stuff from that visitors so far.

Excellent incisive run from Sessegnon as he breaks into the Stoke box, good tackle form Nzonzi though to concede a corner.

Very positive start for the home side, but the visitors enjoying more of the ball now.

Great defensive covering from Mulumbu to prevent a Stoke opening. The corner is cleared.

We're underway then as West Brom kick us off.

"Ex-Potter Edd Irwin here from Durban,South Africa. Stoke have to get something out of this game to satisfy the supporters. Lack of goal scoring is a big problem at the moment. I am going for a 1-1 draw as West Brom have been doing well. (But I'll take a win if it happens)."
