FT: West Ham 3 Fulham 0

Full time, and a huge victory for West Ham. On the other hand, it's an even bigger loss for Fulham. Game over for Martin Jol?

GOAL! (Joe Cole). They've settled it. Great skill from Morrison, teeing up Cole and the midfielder fires home excellently.

On comes highly-rated teenager Mousa Dembele for Fulham, replacing Kieran Richardson.

GOAL! (Carlton Cole). Even bigger applause now for Cole! Downing blasts down the right wing and delivers a perfect ball for Cole to tap home with ease with his first touch. Game over.

Morrison calls for a penalty after bursting into the area but the ref waves play on. Diame drives in and lays off to Morrison who misses a huge chance.

Here comes the sub then, and Carlton Cole is on for Maiga to a rousing applause.

Another effort from Maiga falls harmlessly wide, as Carlton Cole is warming up on the touchline.

Maiga gets a sniff of a chance but is crowded out in the Fulham area.

Ravel Morrison replaces Kevin Noble for West Ham, while Karagounis comes on for Sidwell for Fulham.

Joe Cole's mazy run allows him to open up and fire a shot on goal, but it's well saved again.

A teasing delivery from Joe Cole is overhit, but it's beaten Stekelenburg and bounces back off the crossbar.

Matt Jarvis finishes a great shift on the wing for the Hammers, coming off for Joe Cole.

Flash of a chance for Fulham as Kasami unleashes a stinging low effort just wide of the post.

Another attempt from West Ham as Diame's cross finds Jarvis at the back post, but his header is straight at Stekelenburg.

Off comes Damien Duff, replaced by Bryan Ruiz.

West Ham's set-pieces continue to cause trouble, and it's Tomkins this time who has a header cleared off the line.

West Ham are starting to dominate now. Maiga cuts inside and curls a great effort in which is well saved, while Downing blasts the follow-up over.

Taarabt looks fairly threatening for Fulham but he's not getting enough support. Another attempt from the Cottagers star is blocked.

Maiga has looked a little brighter than usual but still doesn't look like the threat West Ham need up top. James Price agrees: "Don't know why big Sam bought Carlton Cole back if he never uses him. Time to find replacements both for striker & manager. Up the Irons!!"

Brilliant turn by Taarabt opens up the space and he wins a corner for Fulham.

GOAL! (Diame). Parker gives the ball away, as does Sidwell and Diame runs towards goal before unleashing a deflected effort past Stekelenburg.

A long Collins delivery finds the head of Maiga, but Stekelenburg collects the header.

Fulham restart play then, with both sides looking for a much-needed victory.

Half time then, and it's been a very even game so far. The tackles are flying in though in a tough West-East London derby.

Diame catches Duff very late and deservedly goes into the book. Fifth yellow!

BIg chance for West Ham on the stroke of half time. Jarvis receives the ball in the area and swivels excellently, opening up the space to pick out an unmarked Nolan. The midfielder's acrobatics are well saved by Stekelenburg however.

The game has settled down slightly after a frenetic start, very even game so far.

Richardson is one of three stood over it, and he bends it over the wall but well over the goal.

Close call there for the ref, as Bent bursts towards the West Ham box. He opens up to shoot just as McCartney nicks in with the foul, and the latter is booked while Fulham have a free-kick 20 yards out.

Downing switches things up, cutting inside and smashing an effort in on goal, with Stekelenburg just about equal to it.

West Ham's crosses into the box are looking very threatening, with Fulham struggling to deal with them at times.

From the subsequent free-kick, it's another great delivery which causes huge problems in the Fulham defence. An offside call rescues the visitors however.

Sidwell is next into the book, taking out Diame as he burst forward.

Duff breaks down the left after a great quick free-kick from Parker, but Noble gets back well.

Collins nearly heads West Ham in front from a corner, but Hughes does enough to put the defender off.

Diame has a chance from the half-volley on the edge of the box, but he completely miscues his effort.

Zverotic stands over a free-kick around 35 yards out. The shot is ambitious to say the least, and it flies into row z.

Tomkins is next in the book, going in tough on Kasami. Big derby tackles so far.

The free-kick is chipped short and Maiga gets there first, cannoning a header off the post.

Richardson is booked after going in late on Downing. Free-kick wide right, 20 yards out.

The second corner is cleared by Amorebieta.

Downing whips in a dangerous corner. The last touch is off a Fulham defender and it goes out for another.

Taarabt bursts through the West Ham defence with excellent trickery, the ball falls to Bent but his touch is too heavy.

West Ham are on top early on, with play being concentrated down both wings.

Jarvis puts in two early crosses to test the Fulham defence, but they're both dealt with well.

Maiga and Jarvis kick us off then, and the action is underway.

The bubbles are blowing at Upton Park, and we're around 5 minutes until kick off.

McCartney, Jarvis, Diame and Maiga come in for Sam Allardyce's West Ham after their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.

Martin Jol makes three changes from the side that faced Swansea, with Duff, Sidwell and Taarabt all named in the starting XI today.

Fulham: Stekelenburg; Zverotic, Hughes, Amorebieta, Richardson; Duff, Sidwell, Parker, Kasami; Taarabt; Bent. Subs: Stockdale, Senderos, Ruiz, Kacaniklic, Karagounis, Boateng, Dembele.

West Ham: Jaaskelainen; Demel, Tomkins, Collins, McCartney; Jarvis, Diame, Noble, Downing; Nolan; Maiga. Subs: Adrian, Collison, Taylor, Morrison, O'Brien, Carlton Cole, Joe Cole.

Neither side come into the game in great form, with the hosts without a league win in five since stunning Spurs at White Hart Lane last month, while Fulham are without a win in four in the league. This leaves both sides on 10 points, with the Hammers on place above the Cottagers in 17th.
