Norwich 0 Man City 0. All over at Carrow Road and the spoils are shared. City miss the opportunity to return to top spot.
Van Wolfswinkel wins a corner off Kompany. Last chance to steal it. Norwich don't send many forward and City can clear their lines. Hosts happy to play the clock.
Late change by the hosts as Pilkington is withdrawn and Whittaker is sent on to see the game out.
Van Wolfswinkel bounces back to his feet and sets off after Toure. The City man did appear to clip his heels after he had already gone down.
Tame effort from Kolarov. He sets his sights from a long way out and sees his effort bobble well wide of the target. Van Wolfswinkel goes down holding his back.
Three minutes of stoppage-time to be played.
City rocking and look like they would take a point now. Norwich now looking to snatch all three.
Norwich now firmly on the front foot, with Hart having to dive forward and cut out another low cross. Pilkington then slips Zabaleta and gets onto his right foot. From a tight angle he fires inches over the top.
Ironic cheers from the home fans as Kompany plays a terrible pass out of play. Norwich so close to nicking something as they surge down their right. A low cross somehow evades everyone in the middle.
City win another corner. Navas takes. Ruddy comes through the crowd and punches rather unconvincingly. Should have been an easy take. He is let off the hook as Kolarov ends up drilling wide.
Norwich prepared to sit deep, invite pressure and put their bodies on the line. Away support trying to get something extra from their side.
Zabaleta trying to get something going. He makes it to by-line and forces Pilkington to slide the ball behind. Big men forward from the back again. Navas with another corner which fails to make the front post. Terrible time and again this afternoon.
Silva is freed into space 25 yards out on his left foot, but turns inside onto his right. City making some odd decisions. They keep pressing but Milner can only drill a scuffed cross into the chest of Ruddy.
Toure still playing on the toes of his back four. Zabaleta far more advanced as he gathers, but is forced square. Norwich with 11 men behind the ball now.
Tettey spreads pay out to Olsson, who does well to nod forward as Navas raises his boot. The City winger is soon on the ball and drifting into the box. A low cross-shot trickles wide of the target.
City try a training ground routine from the free-kick, but it fails miserably. Milner gets the ball back and despite, bring clipped by Van Wolfswinkel, delivers a cross which Dzeko nods down and over the top. Van Wolfswinkel cautioned for his lunge.
Kolarov sees a cross from the left loop up off Martin and into the hands of Ruddy, who is unchallenged. City come again and Kolaov is tripped by Tettey from behind. Yellow card comes out again.
Redmond teasing Clichy and whipping a cross into the arms of Hart. Indications that Norwich still feel they can nick this on the counter. Why shouldn't they feel like that? City aren't testing them at the other end.
Negredo not happy at being withdrawn. Seems a very negative call from a side supposedly chasing the title. They don't have many more forward-thinking options on the bench, but why pull one of your main strikers?
Negredo holds off Bassong to win another corner. Before it is taken, City replace Negredo with Kolarov? Strange call by Pellegrini. Set-piece touched on, but only into the hands of Ruddy.
Silva into the feet of Dzeko. From a tight angle, he works the ball onto his right foot and then looks to beat Ruddy at his near post. Never on and he hits the side-netting.
Milner becomes the first man to have his name taken. After playing a poor cross, he then slides into a reckless challenge on Olsson as he runs the ball out. He can have few complaints at seeing yellow.
Zabaleta into Navas, but he collects on halfway. Norwich still keeping City in front of them. Negredo pops the ball up to Silva, and then into Milner, but another poor cross lets the visitors down.
Van Wolfswinkel wins a throw close to the City corner flag. Hosts waste the opportunity to test the Blues' back four.
Yet another corner to City as Yobo blocks a Negredo centre. Silva goes near post again, and again the ball is nodded out. Why don't City just hang the ball into the box and let the delivery be contested? Seems odd, especially as they now have Dzeko on the field.
City fail to make anything of another set-piece. Norwich pegged back though inside their own box. Navas clips over from the right, but again the hosts get a head to the ball. Zabaleta has a go, but plays a poor cross into the arms of Ruddy.
Pilkington with a heavy touch, which allows Clichy to get back at him and toe the ball back to Hart. City quickly down the other end of the field. Clichy crossing this time, but Negredo can't nod down to a team-mate. Toure tries his luck, and sees a long-range drive flick behind for a corner.
Kompany long towards Silva. Again Yobo and Bassong get in each other's way and end up conceding a corner. Navas whips over again, but Bassong can stoop to clear.
Hooper back on his feet, but he limps from the field. Van Wolfswinkel is sent on in his place.
Hooper was caught on the ankle by Milner. He was clearly caught and should have been awarded a free-kick. Norwich physio now with him. Changes being readied in the home dugout.
City force another corner, on their left this time. Silva curls in, but Bassong gets in front of Kompany. Silva collects again and hangs over a cross. Dzeko nods away from goal. Hooper now on the deck and stays down.
Zabaleta does really well to slide to the by-line and force the ball into the box. His persistence is rewarded with a corner. Navas takes and Demichelis fails to make contact despite being unmarked.
Norwich are sitting a little deeper now and aren't pressing until the ball is inside their half. When they hammer clear, as they do here, Hooper is isolated up top and unable to make anything of hopeful lumps in his direction.
Zabaleta wins a throw off Johnson. City remain patient in their build-up but need to find some urgency from somewhere if they are to get their noses in front.
No surprise to see Pellegrini turn to his bench. His side are on the back foot again here as Tettey is allowed to surge forward. His 35-yard drive is comfortably saved by Hart.
Martin with a direct burst from full-back. He combines with Hooper and takes the ball brilliantly on the edge of the box. He then drills a volley high over the top. City introduce Dzeko in place of Jovetic.
Johnson into Pilkington. He looks right to Fer, who sees his path blocked. He gets the ball back and sends a cross into the area. Navas back in front of his own goal to clear for City.
Milner driving through midfield and into the box. He is able to stand the ball up to the back post, where Jovetic is arriving. He bundles the ball wide under pressure from Martin.
Bassong is down and may require treatment. He gets tentatively back to his feet without the need for medical attention. Looks like he may have been winded.
Martin looses out to Negredo. He looks for Silva on the edge of the box, but Johnson has tracked back with him. Jovetic then flicks the ball through the box and Olsson puts in a brave sliding block to deny Navas who is arriving on cue at the back post.
City playing at walking pace as they amble out from the back. Pace injected as they reach the Norwich half, but Martin can comfortably watch the ball behind for a goal kick. Expect to see Dzeko sooner rather than later.
Zabaleta through the back of Pilkington, who isn't happy. Norwich winger gets a talking to. Told to calm down - decision had already been given, no need to react. Free-kick drilled long by Johnson, and straight through to Hart. Very poor.
Silva with space on the right, and frees Navas alongside him. Johnson slides in to block a low cross behind for a corner. Navas other another set-piece. His deliveries have been poor, and so is this one as Martin clears as the first man.
Bassong looks for Redmond, but drills out of play. Norwich winger indicates that he wanted the ball over the top and in behind. Sensible with his pace. City back on the ball in midfield.
Zabaleta caught on the ball inside his own half. Good strength from Kompany to get across Pilkington, but he then slices out for a throw. Pilkington then adjudged to have run the ball out while trying to find a route around Zabaleta.
Silva and Jovetic treading on each other's toes in midfield. Not great from City at the moment. They need to get Toure into more influential areas. Milner the one driving forward when he could be the one to sit.
Navas races down the City right and whips over a cross, which is only half-cleared. Jovetic tries again from the other side and Yobo nods behind for a corner. Silva delivers and Tettey scoops clear over his head.
Martin forces over a cross, which Zabaleta deals with. Hooper then races in behind Demichelis, but is pulled up for a nudge in the back of the City defender. He disagrees with the decision.
City forced to play one-touch stuff inside their own half. They go back to Hart, who has to hack a hurried clearance down field. Demichelis then has to hook into the stands under pressure from Redmond.
Hughton immediately into his technical area barking out instructions. He will be demanding more of the same. Norwich need to keep their concentration and keep working as a group. Negredo looking for a way through them now, but is crowded out by Bassong and Yobo.
No changes at the interval by either side so we are as you were. Expect both bosses to mix things up if the scoreline remains the same.
Norwich get us back under way.
Players, led by the hosts, return for the second half. Are we going to get a goal?
Lee says: "0-0 at halftime - I'll take that! I'll take that at full time, too! #ncfc"
Richard Todd says: Look for City to change gears in the second half. Vital opportunity to capitalise on Arsenal's stumble and not let Chelsea gain any lead on the table that will prove more difficult to reel in than Arsenal!"
Remember you can also bet in-play at Skybet.com. Norwich are now 8/1 to take the spoils, with Man City 8/15 and the draw 2/1. You can get 4/1 on the game ending goalless.

Norwich 0 Man City 0. All square at the interval. Not too many chances of note. Home side will be much the happier.
Sideways again from City as they go from left to right. Navas looks to cut inside, but can't. A hooked cross is then looped into the hands of Ruddy.
Silva whips over a free-kick from deep. Negredo challenging and the ball breaks looks on the City left. They keep everybody forward, but can't get the ball into the box. Norwich happy to clip the ball out for a throw.
Two minutes of stoppage-time to be played.
Hooper very deep to get involved. He hasn't seen too much of the ball so far. He is involved again as Pilkington causes problems on the edge of the box, but an ambitious volley is blocked at source.
A warning to Norwich that City can hurt you at any time. They are back on the defensive now, with Olsson winning a throw. he tries a cross with his right foot, which Kompany can clear. Ruddy takes his take with a clearance and is almost closed down by Negredo.
City forced all the way back to Hart. Hughton will be delighted with how comfortably Norwich have been able to keep the visitors at arm's length. As I say that, they spring forward and Jovetic forces a smart stop from Ruddy with a 20 yard volley.
Kompany can only nod a Ruddy clearance into the feet of Tettey. Norwich can't make headway down their right, and Fer then trips Toure to hand possession back to the visitors.
Sliced clearance from Bassong, which again Norwich get away with as City can't work anything from the loose ball. Frustration for the visitors boils over as Zabaleta bundles into the back of Pilkington.
Out of nothing, with no-one closing him down, Negredo lets fly from 25 yards out. Ruddy springs across his goal and is relieved to see the ball crash into the side-netting.
City trying to play their way down the middle, but it is so crowded in there. They do lack width when their full-backs don't push on. Norwich managing to contain the Blues at the moment.
Jovetic and Silva attempt a one-two inside the box. They carve their way through, but Ruddy is alive to the danger and slides off his line to gather low at the feet of Jovetic. Norwich now struggling to get a foot on the ball again.
Silva feeds over a bouncing cross, which Ruddy gather from in front of Negredo. Looking at the headed chance again, Ruddy may have got something on the stooping effort to turn it onto the woodwork.
Milner battles past two yellow shirts and feeds Navas on the right. His low cross is flicked behind. Navas' corner is glanced on by Demichelis and Negredo powers a header off the face of the crossbar. So close to the opening goal.
Navas can't find Silva. City trying to force the issue at times in and around the penalty area. Jovetic tries his luck, but runs down a blind alley. He has to go backwards.
Lack of communication between Yobo and Bassong, but they get away with it as the ball breaks to Martin. Norwich's centre-half pairing is still very much a work in progress.
Jovetic tries to cut across the edge of the box, but is blocked off. The ball breaks kindly into the path of the buccaneering Zabaleta, who drills a cross-shot wide of Ruddy and past the post.
Finally City are able to work a ball into the feet of Negredo, but he is flagged offside. Very tight call. Brilliant lobbed finish from Jovetic after he had been teed up, but it doesn't count.
Jovetic spending more and more time stuck out on the left wing. Not where City need him. They need to see him in and around Negredo. Jovetic then tripped by Tettey. Free-kick played short.
More promise from Redmond, as he darts and Clichy and beyond him. He then suffers a rush of blood and hammers a terrible cross high into the crowd.
Norwich still looking very comfortable when on the ball. City can't get anything going in the final third. All of that equals deadlock.
Negredo returns the ball to Yobo. Toure jogs back on to the field. Pilkington then touches into the path of Olsson, who immediately whips over another cross. Redmond unable to keep the ball in play.
Break in play as Toure goes down holding his head. Phyiso on. Home support not happy with the game being stopped, but officials left with little choice. Toure soon back on his feet and should be okay to continue.
Navas feeds over a low cross which is hooked out by Bassong. City then look to free Zabaleta in behind Olsson, but Toure's chipped pass has too much on it and bounces behind.
Jovetic has runners right and left, but the move is soon slowed and worked out to Zabaleta on the opposite flank. Norwich drag 10 men behind the ball to keep the back door bolted.
Pilkington forced across the field, rather than forwards. Norwich looking comfortable on the ball though and a pass down their right has to be nodded out for a throw by Demichelis. Redmond tries too much.
Second corner from Navas also fails to find a team-mate. Fer runs the ball out for Norwich and is cynically tripped by Milner. England man gets a talking to, but no card. Yobo drills the free-kick long and Fer flicks on to Redmond. Flag up again to frustrate Norwich.
Clichy with a cross from the left which runs through the box, but has to be nodded behind for a corner by Olsson. Navas' delivery is dealt with at the near post. He is picked out again and forces another corner.
Jovetic gathers on the edge of the box and has Silva running off him. He looks to play a slide-rule pass into the area, but puts too much on it and Norwich can clear their lines.
Tettey combines with Martin down the Norwich right, but they soon run out of space. City start working the ball across their midfield again.
Pellegrini out on the touchline. He will be slightly concerned at how easily Norwich are causing problems when they push forward. City have controlled long periods of the game, but haven't really threatened as yet.
Olsson whips over another cross from the left which Clichy has to put behind. From the corner, Hart can only parry a powerful header and the ball drops to Hooper. He pokes over the line, but the flag goes up.
Plikington left on the deck after tangling with Zabaleta, who looked to nip in front of him. Free-kick close to halfway, which is played backwards. Neat passing football from Norwich takes them forward.
Hooper is able to turn 30 yards from goal. Redmond breaks off him and is found by a well-placed pass, with Clichy slipping. Redmond takes a touch to set himself from 12 yards out, but then blazes high over the top. Poor finish.
Milner wide to Zabaleta, but Norwich are working so hard to close down space inside their own half. That policy is working, as Demichelis takes his eye off the ball and sees it run under his boot and out for a throw.
Patient play from City, with Toure still dropping very deep. Visitors not quite hitting their stride as yet, with another misplaced pass - this time from Silva - handing possession back to Norwich. Redmond, who has been lively, wins a throw.
Demichelis drifting well forward from centre-half. Zabaleta then dinks the ball towards the box, but Olsson can nod out for the hosts. City gather the loose ball and start all over again. A stray pass towards Clichy skips out of play for a Norwich throw.
Clichy whips over a dangerous cross from the left which Bassong has to head behind with Negredo lurking behind him. Corner to City, which is floated behind all of those in the middle. Wasted.
Redmond over another set-piece. He floats the ball into the middle, where Hart comes through the crowd to claim confidently. He then looks for Jovetic and a City counter.
Bassong takes Norwich over halfway. City have nine men behind the ball, which ends up being played all the way back to Ruddy. Redmond then springs past Kompany down the left, but his low cross is cut out. The ball breaks to Olsson, who sees a fierce drive flick behind off Zabaleta.
Solid sliding challenge from Demichelis to prevent Pilkington getting down the right flank. He then concedes a throw. Good immediately followed by bad. Norwich back in possession.
Milner waving team-mates forward, before playing left to Clichy. The ball then strikes Jonathan Moss, but City remain in possession. Negredo dives into a challenge following a loose touch and concedes a free-kick in the middle of the park.
Zabaleta wins a throw deep in Norwich territory. Jovetic and Negredo combine on the edge of the box, Yobo is first to the loose ball and sees a clearance deflect off Navas and behind for a goal kick.
Martin happy to win a throw down the Norwich right and disrupt City's rhythm. Home side now go long down their left. Redmond drags the ball out of the sky, but Johnson's cross isn't the best.
City seeing a lot of the ball at the moment. Norwich chasing shadows a bit. Visitors happy to go backwards in order to remain in possession. Toure then fires a brilliant cross-field pass to Clichy. His low cross is just about scrambled clear from in front of Silva.
Norwich working hard to press the ball, but Demichelis can run it out for the visitors. City into their passing stride. Neat football frees Clichy well forward, but Martin comes across to meet him.
Silva on to Milner, who looks left for Clichy. He looks for another run from Jovetic, but again the final ball into the City frontman is lacking. Goal kick to Norwich, which Ruddy drills long.
Olsson bombing forward from full-back. Zabaleta out to meet him and a hopeful cross flicks behind for the first corner of the afternoon. Redmond takes, but scuffs his delivery badly.
Bassong up above Negredo early on to win a towering header. City work their way back into their own half. Toure operating from very deep. He sweeps a long pass forward, but gives Jovetic no chance.

Only the bottom two have conceded more goals than Norwich this season, while no side has managed more than Manuel Pellegrini's City side. The reverse meeting between the two teams back in November saw the Blues prevail 7-0.
City arrive in Norfolk on the back of a 1-0 reversal against Chelsea, but aware that victory this afternoon will take them back to the top of the table - with Arsenal being hammered at Liverpool as we speak.
The Canaries head into the game having won only one of their last nine in the league, leaving them just two points above the relegation zone.
Welcome to Carrow Road for our coverage of today's Premier League encounter between Norwich and Manchester City.
