FT: Chelsea 1 Everton 0

The corner is cleared and it's all over. That injury-time goal takes Chelsea four points clear at the top of the table and could be absolutely huge in the final reckoning. For Everton, plenty of endeavour for no reward and the top four is starting to look a long way away.

GOAL - TERRY! Lampard fizzes the free-kick into the danger area and Howard turns the ball into his own net under pressure from Terry, who is credited with the goal.

Plenty of time for a winner here: five additional minutes.

Cahill tries to stride through the Everton midfield, but Barry makes the interception. Chelsea pushing for a winner.

Hazard flicks the ball over Distin but the ball just won't sit down for him to get a shot away. It breaks to Torres, whose shot deflects behind off Hazard for a goal-kick. Just not happening for Chelsea.

Deulofeu replaces Mirallas.

Good ball from Ivanovic finds Ramires inside the Everton box, but he loses his balance as he tries to cut on to his left foot and Everton bring the ball away. Home crowd frustrated.

Successive corners cause tense moments in the Everton six-yard box. Toffees rocking a bit for the first time.

Huge appeals for a penalty as Jagielka blocks Eto'o's shot. Chelsea have to settle for a corner, but the ball definitely did strike the defender's arm. Would've been harsh.

Better from Chelsea as Lampard combines with Hazard to work a shooting chance but Howard stands tall to make the block.

Chelsea's turn to feel aggrieved now as Willian goes down under Distin's challenge but nothing is given.

Ramires' first involvement is to give Pienaar a kick as the ball gets stuck underneath the Everton midfielder. Everton players unhappy, but it's just a drop-ball.

Matic runs the ball out of play on halfway under pressure from McCarthy.

Terry climbs highest to meet Willian's outswinging corner, but heads well wide.

Everton win a corner. Mirallas to take it.

Good deep cross from Willian finds Lampard beyond the far post. He makes the wrong decision and tries to head goalwards rather than back across goal for the waiting Eto'o.

Disappointing cross from Ivanovic fails to beat first man Baines. Had time to pick out something better than that.

Crowd's gone quiet. First half hour belonged to Everton after they'd got throught the first eight or nine minutes.

Frantic spell of Chelsea pressure ends with Azpilicueta's curling shot from 20 yards safely gathered by Howard.

Better from Chelsea, who work a couple of good situations down the right-hand side. The second sees Hazard cut the ball back for Eto'o, but he completely misses the ball as he tries to shoot first time.

Chelsea look for a quick break, but Distin reads Lampard's throughball intended for Eto'o and intercepts.

Baines looks to get into the Chelsea box but never really has the ball under full control before Terry clears.

Barry giving Oscar no time on the ball here, again getting a foot in to dispossess the Brazilian and break up the Chelsea attack.

Oscar gets in behind a dozing Jagielka, but can't get on the end of a long diagonal pass. Howard tidies up.

Great work from Barry to get back and dispossess Oscar.

Another poor corner. Lampard heads clear, and Chelsea break...

Not the best corner from Baines, but he'll get another chance as Cahill turns it behind.

Much better from Everton. Knocking the ball around patiently before working it out to Baines on the left. His cross finds Naismith, who tees up Osman to fire a shot goalwards. Cech forced to turn it behind for a corner.

Azpilicueta breaks down the left but runs out of pitch. Everton have a throw deep inside their own half.

Booking for Oscar after a clumsy, late challenge on a breaking Naismith.

Corner pinballs around before Howard punches clear. There are some appeals for handball as the ball returns to the area but nothing given.

Everton's first real forward foray from open play comes, unsurprisingly, via a Baines run and cross down the left, but he can't pick out fellow full-back Coleman who had also bombed forward. Crucial touch from Azpilicueta. Chelsea break and win another corner.

Hazard involved again in setting up a chance for Willian, but he's crowded out on the edge of the Everton box.
