Both sides had plenty of chances to snatch maximum points, but goalkeepers Alan Marriott and Chris Lewington impressed between the posts to make sure there were no goals in the contest.

Dagenham have now not won in their last three matches and their winless run on home soil stretches back to New Year's Day when then clinched a slender 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon.

And a draw for Mansfield means they haven't won away since January 4.

Luke Norris was denied by Marriott early in the action and the keeper also thwarted the same player on the stroke of half time.

Samuel Clucas shot wide and had two shots saved by Lewington in an end-to-end contest, but neither side could find the killer touch needed to claim the victory.

Adebayo Azeez rifled wide for the hosts and forced a smart block from Marriott, while at the other end Jamie McGuire and Clucas wasted decent chances.
