Here are a few more details on today's teams: Javi Garcia comes into the heart of the Manchester City defence in place of the injured Vincent Kompany. Skipper Kompany suffered a groin injury in Monday's impressive 4-0 win over Newcastle, and manager Manuel Pellegrini opts for Garcia, ahead of Matija Nastasic, alongside Joleon Lescott at centre-half. Cardiff boss Malky Mackay also makes just one change to his side as the Welsh capital hosts a Premier League game for the first time. Andrew Taylor returns from suspension to take over from Declan John at left-back, with striker Andreas Cornelius named on the bench.

Also good to let you know today's referee is Lee Probert.

Opta Fact: Despite not scoring, Edin Dzeko's total of eight shots versus Newcastle in their opening game was more than he managed in any Premier League game last season.

Opta Fact: Should he score, Craig Bellamy will become the first player in the history of the Barclays Premier League to score for seven different clubs in the competition.

Opta Fact: Manchester City have kept a clean sheet in 12 of their 19 Barclays Premier League games so far in 2013.

Here are some Opta Facts for today's match: Cardiff City won more points at home than any other Championship side in 2012/13 (51).

Good afternoon to Gabriel with his thoughts on the match: "I think Cardiff can hold City to a draw here. They had an excellent home defensive record last season, and there'll be a great atmosphere for their first Premier League home game. It was easy for City last week because they were playing at home and scored early. I don't think Cardiff will let them off so easily. 0-0."

Here are the odds from Sky Bet for this afternoon's match. The Price Boosts are: Cardiff to win 1-0 at 25/1, Craig Bellamy to score first at 16/1, Manchester City to win 3-1 at 14/1 and Sergio Aguero to score first at 5/1. Cardiff are priced at 7/1 to win today, Manchester City are the 4/9 favourites and the draw can be backed at 7/2.
