Belgium international Vertonghen returned to action in the opening day win at Palace after the best part of four weeks out with an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, England winger Lennon, who made a substitute appearance at Selhurst Park, is expected to play a role despite experiencing pain in his foot.

Paulinho and Roberto Soldado, who both scored in the 5-0 win against Dinamo Tbilisi, are expected to keep their places, while winger Andros Townsend is pushing for a starting role after an impressive display.

Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is expected to tinker with his team for the trip to White Hart Lane.

Left-back Ben Davies may return after missing out against Petrolul Ploiesti in the Europa League through injury.

Meanwhile, Jonathan de Guzman's return from concussion means he may be in line for a start in midfield.

Nathan Dyer looks set to miss out again with a hamstring injury, but Jordi Amat and Jose Canas may come into contention for starting berths as Laudrup looks to manage the demands of domestic and European campaigns.
