GOAL - PHIL BARDSLEY - Another corner Chelsea fail to deal with and this time at the right end Bardsley hammers home from inside the six-yard box.

Sunderland corner as Lampard heads behind...

OWN GOAL - PHIL BARDSLEY - Demba Ba broke down the right, he crossed looking for Ramires but Bardsley slid in to put it past his own keeper.

Hazard plays Ba in on edge of the box, he has to come back for the ball but gets his shot away which is high and wide.

Sunderland now want a penalty as Terry barges into Gardner. Again nothing given.

Great play from Lampard to win the ball, he sets Hazard away and looks for run of Ba, he gets shot away but it looked like O'Shea brought him down on the edge of the box - but nothing is given.

Mata swings it in but Altidore does well to head clear - but Chelsea are straight back at them and Willian fires shot just wide.

Great run from Willian down the right, he cuts it back for Ba and Sunderland concede corner.

Good ball into box from Borini finds Altidore, but he can only flick it away from goal.

Adam Johnson on for Giaccherini.

Demba Ba on for Torres.

Hazard to Willian, he finds Mata and his shot is charged down.

GOAL - EDEN HAZARD - Lampard exchanges passes with the little Belgian and he drives across the box before firing home.

Free-kick to edge of the box finds O'Shea, his flick finds Borini but his shot is charged down.

More wonderful foot work by Hazard - Sunderland seem to have three-men on him now, but they still can't stop him. He then played wonderful ball out to Ramires, but he couldn't keep it in.

Seb Larsson on for Colback.

Torres fires over from eight yards with goal at his mercy after brilliant save from Mannone to deny Hazard after another mesmerising run.

Excellent covering challenge from Cahil to stop Borini as Sunderland looked to break.

Hazard wins free-kick. Lampard whips it in but it is poor and Giaccherini clears.

Colback booked for challenge on Willian.

Willian leads Chelsea counter, he finds Torres on the right and he puts excellent ball into the box but nobody is there. Corner is though conceded.

Sunderland corner as Hazard deflects Bardsley cross behind. Giaccherini takes...

Chelsea start the second-half, neither side has made a change.

Whistle goes and an exhilarating 45-minutes but it is the visitors with the lead.

Mata puts free-kick in looking for Cahill and Terry but whistle goes for a foul.

Bardsley is booked as again Hazard danced past him and the Sunderland man could only brag him back.

Hazard takes corner but it is poor and Colback clears.

More brilliance from Hazard as he has Bardsley in knots in the box before driving a shot at the near post which Mannone has to push behind.

Two-minutes of added time.

Colback intercepts poor Willian pass and breaks clear, but he in-turn fails to find Bardsley with Sunderland piling forward.

What a chance for Torres, long ball over the top from Lampard, he brings it down but O'Shea is there to snuff it out and Sunderland clear - should have been 3-1.

Mata is down after late challenge from Dossena - he looks in a lot of pain and card finally comes out, although Phil Dowd took his time.

GOAL - EDEN HAZARD - Wonderful goal from the little Belgian, he skips pasts two challenges before firing into the far corner from the edge of the box.

Chelsea break through Willian, Hazard wants ball over the top - which he attempts but it is straight at Mannone.

Sunderland win corner off Azpilicueta - but again it is poor, but Azpilicueta can only slice it behind for another set-piece. This time it is better and Brown goes for goal but it is charged down and Chelsea clear.

Mata swings it, Altidore's attempted cleared comes for Torres - but he smashes over from 12-yards.

Chelsea clear and counter, ball is back for Mannone, he looks for Dossena but Mata flicks it past the Italian who can only foul the Spaniard close to the corner flag.

Good work from Borini to dispossess Ivanovic, can then only hack it clear through Ramires - it comes for Dossena and his shot is pushed wide by Cech.

Another dangerous ball into the box from Dossena, this time Cahill slides it away.

Altidore wins another free-kick in a dangerous position, this time about 35-yards out. Gardner takes but Cahill heads it away.

Excellent ball into the box from Dossena looking for Altidore but Cech is up well to take it.

Lampard and Hazard combine on the edge of the box and the Englishman puts ball to back post for Torres but again Brown is too strong.

Borini fires a cross-come-shot into the Chelsea box but Cech is off his line well to deal with it.

More good defending by Brown as he blocks shot from Willian - Ramires then goes down in the box looking for penalty off Bardsley but nothing is given, and rightly so.

Chelsea fans now know they are in a game here - like Greg Elliot on Twitter: @GElliott1981 Chelsea are in for a tough game tonight but I still think we'll nick it 1-2.

Hazard with more room, this time on the right - but his cross is poor and behind for a goal-kick - let off for Sunderland.

GOAL - FRANK LAMPARD - Just as Chelsea failed to clear their lines for Sunderland's goal, the home side fail to deal with the corner, and Hazard's brilliant return into the box was met by Lampard who could not miss from inside the six-yard box.

Sunderland scramble it away as Willian finds Mata in the box and his cross-come-shot is put behind by O'Shea.

Good defending from Brown to clear ahead of Torres as Ivanovic drove a cross into the box.

GOAL - JOZY ALTIDORE - Dossena's free-kick goes into the wall, Chelsea fail to clear and Colback's ball back into the box finds Altidore and he turns and finishes for his first ever Sunderland goal.

Altidore does well to find Giaccjherini with his flick, the Italian's shot is blocked but a free-kick is given for Azpilicueta's late challenge on the American - real chance here.

First run for Torres, he feeds Willian down the right but O'Shea does well to see the ball out.

Lampard picks up the ball after Bardsley lunge on Hazard, play is waved on and the England man fires it just wide.

Mata causing trouble on the left, he gets ball into box but Ki clears for Sunderland.

Hazard again brushes off a couple of challenges before unleashing an effort from 25-yards but it is high and wide.

Ramires lucky to avoid yellow card, has already kicked the ball away twice.

Brilliant play from Hazard, he comes off the left beating a couple of challenges then finds Mata out wide who is just inches away from finding him in the box with the return.

More nice football from Sunderland with Gardner and Altidore involved again, this time Borini breaks into the box and sends his shot across goal and wide.

Excellent knock-down by Altidore finds Colback, he plays quick ball for Gardner, he squares it for Bardsley on the edge of the box and his shot is charged down by Azpilicueta.

Sunderland gets us underway kicking from right to left.
