That's it, it's all over. 0-0 but how much of an impact did the two first half dismissals have?

Reading look most likely but Brighton really defending well and looking dangerous on the counter.

We will have three minutes of added time. Will we get a winner?

Robson-Kanu wastes at the other end.

Buckley wins a throw deep inside the Reading half. It's taken quickly but Buckley can't connect on the cross.

Bridge with a throw for Brighton and he takes it short. The ball makes it's way to Le Fondre in the box and then Blackman but it glides wide.

Karacan off Blackman on.

Ward with a great chance. Reading make a real mess of clearing the ball and when it breaks to the defender he fires wide.

Crofts the latest name to be taken.

Upson drives forward with the ball and feeds Crofts but Williams is tracking back well.

Calderon reduces the crowd to tears of laughter after a foul throw. He should know how to take one shouldn't he?

Robson-Kanu with a great delivery but Brighton manage to scoop it away.

Guthrie shouts at his defenders. Lua Lua wasn't closed down and blazes over.

Robson-Kanu wins a corner at the other end and when the ball falls to Pearce he adjusts well but it's straight at the 'keeper.

Chance of the game. Excellent move down the left by Brighton and when the ball fell to Barnes in the six yard box McCarthy somehow kept it out.

Robson-Kanu found himself in a wide position this time but there wasn't any support in the box.

Wayne Bridge, for once, can't pick a man out and the ball drifts out of play. The side who can remain composed in the final third will win this.

Karacan with time but his ball is easy for Kuszczak.

Both sides looking tom play on the counter but it's really energy sapping for the players out there. especially when down to ten men each.

Calderon this time manages to head Bridge's cross away.

Brighton have a half chance from a free kick which falls to Calderon but he volleys over.

Guthrie for a late challenge on Lua Lua.

Reading win another throw. Gunter takes but it's pretty easy for Brighton to clear.

Bridge then delivers his third superb cross of the half but Williams heads over. Should have done better.

Barnes gives away a free kick and Reading have chance to get some shape back. It's 10 v 10 remember out there.

Robson-Kanu drives towards the Brighton penalty area and Lua Lua concedes a corner.

Brighton with another slow build up but Andrews has a shot when allowed time but it goes wide.

Brighton's turn to have a go now it seems. Ward attacking well with Lua Lua down the left. Barnes finds space but has to settle for a corner.

Reading clear for now but Brighton have a throw. Lua Lua then gives away a free kick.

Calderon then has a go from 25 yards and McCarthy tips wide for a corner.

Barnes with a super volley but what a ball by Crofts. Barnes started the move a few passes earlier.

Barnes on for Lopez.

Pearce strides forward this time. Bridge helps out and sets Karacan up but he fires over.

End to end now. Williams is caught in possession though for Reading and Brighton have a throw.

Free header for Calderon but he doesn't time it well and it goes over the bar.

Lua Lua opens play up well again and wins his side a corner.

Robson-Kanu then fouls Caskey and Brighton have a moment to regroup.

Brighton having a go down the left with Lua Lua. Lopez creates space with a beautiful touch but his shot is wide.

Upson makes a rare error and slices the ball out of play. Reading throw.

Bridge again with an excellent ball in. Reading have Brighton pinned back. Gunter then swings a cross in but Le Fondre can't quite make any contact on it.

Crofts wins a throw deep inside the Reading half. Calderon offers support as well.

Gunter finds time out wide but he over hits his cross.

Robson-Kanu and Williams really helping Le Fondre out whenever possible now.

Guthrie from the right floats one in but the ball comes back to him and he runs it out of play.

bridge does really well down the left and when the ball is eventually cleared, Karacan sees his attempt tipped over.

Will be interesting to see how both sides approach the game in the second half.

The whistle goes and it's all square at the break but both sides are down to 10 men. Should make for an open second half.

Greer heads towards goal but it's saved. Big chance for Brighton. McCarthy did well to keep it out.

Reading win a free kick and the crowd cheer like they have just scored a goal. They feel the sending off was harsh.

Ulloa linking well with midfield but the cross is just long for him and Reading survive. Drenthe in the meantime gives away a free kick.

Lua Lua then arrives late. The crowd want a red card but it's only a yellow.

Reading break through Guthrie but it's easy for Brighton who then decide to give possession back to Reading.

Two quick corners for Brighton. The latest taken short to Andrews but his cross is long.

Lopez again with the diagonal ball for Brighton but it's well defended this time by Reading. Brighton on top now.

McCarthy makes a mess of the delivery and it's a corner for Brighton. Lopez delivers and Reading clear eventually.

Kuszczak exchanging passes with two or three defenders before sending the ball long.

Ward and Drenthe collide and Brighton have the ball with Kuszczak.

Calderon recovers well and secures his side a goal kick.

Reading appear happy to let Brighton have it in deep areas. Not much service for Ulloa and Lua Lua thus far.

Drenthe has a go from a tricky angle but Kuszczak claims easily.

Kelly looks for the ball over the top to Drenthe and the former Real Madrid man wins another free kick in another dangerous area.

Brighton certainly seeing more of the ball now. Haven't quite managed to create any opening yet though.

Ulloa this time wins a free kick for Brighton deep inside his own half. Game a little scrappy.

Reading trying to push Brighton back as far as possible. Drenthe makes a run again but Williams' pass is long and goes out of play.

Karacan wide to Drenthe and Lua Lua gives away a foul.

Upson with a great defensive header. Guthrie wins possession back and Reading look to build again.

Le Fondre then latched onto a long ball but it's cleared by Brighton well. Good start to the game.

Le Fondre tracks his man but gives away a free kick in a dangerous area. Lopez takes but Pearce heads away well.

Brighton happy to play keep ball around halfway but Reading are snapping into tackles.

Drenthe attacks Ward but he runs out of pitch. Goal kick for Brighton.

First touch of the ball for Guthrie but Le Fondre can't get on the end of a long ball forward.

Pogrebnyak gives away a free kick and Brighton get us going again.

Brighton in all yellow playing the ball around from deep. Ward re starts play with a throw.

Garcia looks very calm on the Brighton bench. Will he be happy after 90 minutes of action?

Some fascinating talent on show here today. Former Real Madrid man Drenthe really stands out.

No guarantees in this league but I would be very surprised if we didn't see some goals this afternoon.

Chris Green has been in touch: "I am really looking forward to this game - both of these teams are big contenders for promotion, so it will be hard to separate them if they both perform well. I wouldn't like to predict the final score for this clash, but if I had to, I would say a 3-1 win for Reading."

Really looking forward to this one. It's as tight as ever in the Championship and a win for either side this afternoon could kick start their season.
