Kick-off at Anfield is five minutes away, with a place in the third round at stake for tonight's winner.

If you fancy an upset, Notts County are priced at a massive 18/1 with Sky Bet. There isn't too much value in Liverpool at 1/8, but a Price Boost of Daniel Sturridge first goal-scorer looks tasty at 7/2 considering his start to the season! There are plenty of other specials on tonight's game too.

An optimistic Notts County fan has been in touch via Twitter. @EowyMachinCOYP is predicting a 2-1 win for the visitors.

Both teams have had contrasting fortunes in the opening weeks of their respective seasons. A 1-0 scoreline has been enough for Liverpool to win both of their Premier League games, while in League One, Notts County are yet to win, only managing to pick up one point from their opening four.

This is the first competitive meeting between the two sides for over 21 years. The last time they lined up against each other was at Anfield in 1992 when Liverpool were 4-0 winners.

We're around 25 minutes away from kick-off at Anfield, but in the meantime, you can whet your appetite for the game by reading our preview.

@MrJPricey thinks Aspas should have started, while @Conc_1892 says: "Looks like Liverpool are going pretty strong.

Plenty of Reds have been voicing their thoughts on Twitter. @Aceoffun says: "Glad to see a strong squad from Liverpool. Since we are not in Europe we should aim to go far in all the cup competitions."

Thanks to @AJ_Redmond who has been in touch on Twitter. He says: "Borini should have been given the chance to lead the line and grab a few tonight, I'm leaning towards Liverpool 5-0 County!"

What do you make of those starting line-ups? As always, your thoughts and predictions are welcome before, during and after the game. Either email me: ryanparrish@bskyb.com or Tweet: @ryanparrish1919, and a selection of the best will be published.

So Brendan Rodgers has opted for a strong team tonight. Sturridge and Gerrard both keep their places from Saturday's win at Aston Villa, while Luis Alberto is handed his debut and youngster Jordan Ibe is given another chance to impress.

Coombes, Thompson, Spiess, Tempest, Boucaud, Murray, Nangle.
