Live: Valencia 0 Swansea 3

The final whistle blows and it's a famous 3-0 victory for Swansea in the Mestalla. The result never really looked in doubt following Rami's red card in the 10th minute. A fantastic performance from Michael Laudrup's side, who start their Europa League campaign with an ultimately comfortable away win.

There will be two minutes of added time and the whistle cannot come soon enough for Valencia.

Pabon goes on a long run and ends up near the byline on the left but nobody has been able to keep up and his cross is dealt with by Chico.

Swansea able to stroll around in the middle of the pitch and there has been an air of resignation around Valencia for a while now.

Shelvey tries to lob Guaita from all of 40 yards out but the 'keeper gets back on his line to pluck the ball from the air. A cheeky effort there from the former Liverpool man.

Swansea simply running the clock down when they have the ball now, and who can blame them?

Chico pulls Postiga down and the home side are awarded a free kick but they can't mount a serious challenge.

Close control from Pozuelo on the egde of the Valencia area but his attempted back-heel doesn't find its intended target.

Great skill from Bernat on the left to find space but his low cross takes a deflection and squirms through to Vorm.

Fuego shows a bit of fight on the left but he can only win a throw and Swansea deal with the threat.

The home side have responded to the noise from the crowd and are keeping the ball reasonably well but there's been a real dearth of attempts on Vorm's goal.

The Valencia fans are in full voice now but the players are playing for pride at this rate.

Shelvey does really well down the right side and fires in a nice cross but nobody can get on the end of it. That deserved a bit more.

Free kick on the edge of the box for Swansea but the wall does its job this time.

De Guzman wants another taste of the action but he just fails to get on the end of a cross from the left.

Michu the next man to be withdrawn and on comes Jonjo Shelvey.

Tiendalli's finds space down the right flank but his cross is hacked away.

Michu makes a darting run off the ball but de Guzman opts to hang onto the ball and play it back to Chico.

Valencia hit the byline on the left but the cross is blocked and Postiga's subsequent attempt on goal from outside the area drifts high and wide.

Swansea back in cruise control and steadily turning the screw on a leggy looking Valencia side.

Chico shows his strength to win back possession and set Swansea on their way again.

A small penalty shout for Swansea as Bony hits the deck when placed under pressure from Costa. The referee waves away the appeals.

The ball comes back into the area after the corner is cleared, but Vorm comes out to claim the cross.

Valencia finally coming forward with purpose and Guardado has a shot tipped over the top by Vorm.

The Swans are popping the ball around with fluency but Ben Davies concedes a free kick.

Another switch for the home team now with Juan Bernat replacing Sergio Canales.

Laudrup gives a rest to Nathan Dyer, who is taken off in place of Roland Lamah.

Costa's night isn't getting much better as he gets a whack on the side of the head from his own goalkeeper while challenging with Bony.

Valencia are rocking and Swansea look ready to land the knockout blow. It's surely a case of damage limitation for the home side now.

GOAL DE GUZMAN! De Guzman really did fancy it. The Dutch midfielder steps up and curls a magnificent shot into the top right corner. Swansea are in dreamland and there is around 30 minutes still to come.

Free kick awarded to Swansea on the left edge of the Valencia box. Pozuelo is brought down following a smart turn and de Guzman fancies this.

Another change for Valencia now, with Dorloan Pabon replacing Sofiane Feghouli.

GOAL MICHU! The counter attack produces a second goal for the away side and it's Michu with a cool finish. He is found by Pozuelo and tucks the ball home at the near post.

Valencia looking to build on the right but Swansea's defence stands firm and they clear for a counter attack.

Angel Rangel is replaced by Ben Davies, who goes over to left back and Tiendalli looks to have switched to the right.

Valencia with a spell of possession now but Feghouli fails to keep the ball in play on the right.

de Guzman allowed to run a long way down the left channel and he forces a corner, which he takes himself. The ball finds its way to Michu but his hooked effort goes over the top. He and Bony getting in each other's way at times.

Valencia briefly threaten down the right but the attempted cross is wild and flies behind for a goal kick.

Bony has a great chance to double his lead but his header doesn't hit the target. Fine work on the right from Dyer led to the opportunity.

The move fizzles out to nothing but Guardado plays a hopeful ball forward and Postiga has no chance of creating antything with that sort of service.

Neither side able to really establish themselves in the second period but Swansea are able to create an attack down the left.

Shot on target from Pozuelo but it lacks venom and Guaita makes a comfortable save.

Good stuff from Ever Banega and he tries a ball through the middle for Postiga but it goes through to Vorm.

Swansea get the second half under way and what a great chance for them to gain a Europa League victory.

Costa plays the ball out for a Swansea throw and the home fans are not best pleased with the amount of mistakes being made.

Chico having a good game for Swansea as he's looked very comfortable on the ball as well as dealing with whatever Valencia have had to offer.

A moment of danger at the other end as a free kick is played into the box but nobody is on the end of it.

Bony having a fine night already but his shot from the edge of the area is sliced wide of Guaita's left-hand upright.

A late foul by Postiga on Canas but there is no card.

Swansea under no pressure as they're allowed to pass it around between the defenders.

Swansea have only really had the one major chance since going ahead but they will be delighted with the current situation.

Pozuelo missing out on a header in midfield but Valencia then concede a free kick.

Postiga caught offside again as the ball is played into the box. His effort on goal goes just wide of the post anyway.

Canales battles well in midfield and Guardado wins a throw deep in the Swansea half on the left.

Tiendalli just caught offside but Laudrup will be delighted to see his full backs pushing forward and heaping the pressure on when possible.

Swansea not rushing anything and looking really composed against 10-man Valencia.

Dyer working well down the right, linking play and dropping deep when required.

Swansea have loads of time on the ball and Michu now tries a volley from outside the box. He gets right underneath it and cannot control the shot.

Chico looks to find Michu with a long ball but he over hits the pass and it goes through to the 'keeper.

Postiga showing willing up front but he's feeding off scraps currently and Chico deals with him well.

Valencia are obviously shell-shocked following the red card and Swansea goal. They're struggling to get many touches and are bound to get tired if this trend continues.

Bony tries an overhead kick, which goes harmlessly wide of Guaita's goal.

Goalscorer Bony goes down in the middle of the pitch following an awkward tackle but he's up and ready to action within a couple of moments. He'll be very keen to stay on and add to his tally.

Valencia get a chance to come forward but Canales loses control and Tiendalli mops up.

The referee with an unfortunate touch in the middle of the field but Swansea win it back and remain comfortable.

More errors from the Valencia defence, who really are reeling at the moment.

Massive chance for Nathan Dyer, who is played in down the right following a wayward back-pass. He drags his shot wide and puts his head in his hands.

Dyer and Pozeulo linking up well and there is very little pressure on the ball from Valencia, who are just hoping to take stock currently.

More lovely stuff in the middle of the park from Michael Laudrup's men and the away fans really are enjoying this.

Swansea are spraying the ball around beautifully now and looking to make the extra man count. Michu a bit wastful, but Swansea win the ball straight back and look to build again.

de Guzman looking to put his foot on the ball now and slow things down. The Swansea fans are in full voice.

Canales with a free kick from the right but Vorm gets enough of a fist to it and Swansea eventually clear.

GOAL BONY! Swansea find the breakthrough and it's Wilfried Bony. He fires low into the net after being found by Michu.

Valencia forced into a change, with Costa coming on for Fede.

Free kick on the half way line to Valencia and it's going to be a booking for Rangel. That looked a shade harsh, but the home side were breaking with purpose.

Swansea looking to establish some good possession and take advantage of the extra man.

Bony with the free kick and although it's blocked, he gets another chance from the rebound. The second effort flies wide.

A straight red for Adil Rami, who brings down Bony, who was through on goal. Not many arguments there and it's a great chance now for Swansea.

Some good passing from the away side but no penetration.

Canales with a long-range effort but Vorm is down easily to his left with a simple save.

Dangerous ball across the Swansea area but it misses everyone and they get away with it.

Canas with some good work in front of the back four as he picks up the pieces following a half-clearance from Amat.

Bony with a header from the corner but it's a weak one and Guaita collects comfortably.

Dyer, the sole Englishman in the Swansea line-up, wins a corner on the right after a long ball.

Helder Postiga caught inches offside as he tries to play on the shoulder of the last man.

Swansea sitting deep in the opening stages and looking to play on the counter, which we know they are very capable of.

Crossing chance for Tiendalli but he slips when attempting to find the box. Free kick to Valencia now just inside their oppenent's half.

Bony getting a few early touches of the ball but Swansea haven't really had much possession in the opening couple of minutes.

The game is under way and Valencia looking to dictate matters by stroking the ball around in midfield.

Swansea will be buoyed by the way they performed in Monday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool and it's good to see Michu and Bony both in the starting line-up again as surely it's only a matter of time before these two quality players gel. It won't be easy for the away side by any means at the Mestalla, but it's worth noting Valencia have shipped nine goals in their first four La Liga games this term and are clearly vulnerable at the back.
