CHANCE! McClean flicks a foot at the corner and it drifts wide. Who was attacking that one?

Wakaso whips one in at the other end but it's comfortable in the end for Nicholls.

Wigan are certainly trying to make this a nervy five or six remaining minutes for the home side.

CHANCE! Rogne with a great header which hits the bar. Espinoza with the delivery. Incredibly unlucky.

Ryazantsev flagged offside after a lovely little reverse pass from Natkho.

CHANCE! Fortune with a lovely little turn inside the area but he snatches at the chance. He did the first bit brilliantly.

1-0 is a dangerous score and Wigan could get something from the game tonight. Powell's cross is easy though. More composure required you feel.

McArthur has a go from distance but it's blocked. Rubin sitting deeper now.

Powell comes deep to win the ball and surges towards the edge of the area. The Rubin defenders back off the youngster but his shot is a yard wide. Good effort.

Crainey receives a yellow for a challenge on Ryazantsev.

Ryazantsev gained a yard after clever play from Torbinskiy but he drags his shot wide.

M'Vila starts another Rubin attack. Kuzmin can't deliver in the end. Very pleasing move on the eye.

Sharonov with a direct ball through to Torbinskiy but he delayed slightly and two Wigan defenders get back to remove the danger.

Powell comes on for Wigan in place of Perch.

Nicholls looked like he wasn't going to come for that then but thwarts the Rubin forward in the end.

Holt looks ok and Wigan break down the right. Shotton with the long throw and Barnett appears to have a great chance but the whistle is up for an earlier foul on Ryzhikov.

Holt is till down. This will be a worry for Wigan.

McArthur has a chance to deliver but he must do better as it is cleared easily by Rubin.

Ryzhikov gets himself in a mess from another high delivery and Rubin somehow clear. That certainly looks the most promising route for the away side.

McClean wins another corner down the left. Holt with the header but it's easy for Ryzhikov. Wigan have looked threatening in the air.

Excellent delivery by McClean. It deceives everyone and is inches wide.

McManaman stretches his legs and Torbinskiy catches him late.

Wigan will want to get to the break only one goal behind. Perch then gives the ball away.

For once Eremenko over hits his pass and Wigan escape.

Espinoza attacks down the right and breaks into the area but no penalty. I think he went down in hope more than anything.

Ryazantsev plays Kuzmin in again but Crainey recovers in time.

Perch receives a yellow for foul on Torbinskiy.

Barnett goes down clutching his head but look ok. Wigan start again through Nicholls.

Espinoza looks long for Holt again but his flick on goes out of play.

Game starting to calm down a little. Wigan might prefer that. Can Owen Coyle's men scheme a way back?

Rubin managing to find far more space all over the field. Wigan need to get tighter and keep the ball far better.

CHANCE! Holt heads over the crossbar after an excellent cross from Espinoza. Unlucky.

Rubin starting to dominate. Torbinskiy gives away a foul though. Luckily for Wigan.

Ryazantsev then hits one high and wide from outside the area. Wigan just need to gather some shape here.

This difficult job just got a little harder for Wigan. They had looked comfortable.

GOAL! Kuzmin fires home from a tight angle. McClean should probably have been tracking him. The defender finishes with ease.

Sharonov looks like he will survive and Rubin knock it around patiently from the back. Rogne then concedes a foul.

At the other end, Torbinskiy claims his side a free-kick. Rubin play a bit of keep ball.

Disappointing from Espinoza as he hits it out of play when he appeared to have time in midfield. Owen Coyle will expect his side to keep the ball better.

Crainey attempts a quick throw to Espinoza but it goes out of play for a goal kick.

Nicholls will get us restarted with a goal kick after Rubin can't make the most of some extra space in midfield.

Rubin are 22 European games unbeaten at home. Wigan struggling to get out of their half at the moment.

Torbinskiy tries to turn on the edge of the box but Rogne does well.

McArthur then fouls M'Vila and Rubin get the opportunity to attack again.

Tricky tie this for Wigan. Trying to balance a Europa League campaign with a busy Championship one. Can they do it?
