FT: Cardiff 1 Wigan 2

It's all over. The FA Cup holders march on with a 2-1 win over Premier League Cardiff.

The long ball forward to Campbell is easily gathered by Al Habsi.

There will be four additional minutes played.

Cala goes down in the box as the ball bounces for him, but the referee not having any of it.

Wigan with a free kick in midfield as Espinoza is kicked in the mid-rib.

Cala tries to head to Campbell in the box, but Al Habsi rushes out to gather easily.

Daehli with another good dribble into the box. He lays it off to Taylor, who crosses to Noone at the far side. Zaha gets is back on the near side as play is switched again, but he fails to win a corner up again McClean.

Noone cuts inside in the box, but blazes his shot over the bar.

Theophile-Catherine crosses into the box, but Zaha's header down at the far post is to no one and is cleared.

Noone whips the ball into the box, but Ramis heads it clear.

Al Habsi stretches brilliantly to deny a low Zaha curled effort. The follow-up is skewed wide.

Daehli makes a good run into the box, but his shot is just, just over the bar.

And the free kick is cleared by Wigan.

Cardiff have a free kick right on the edge of the area as Campbell is brought down on a charging run.

Cardiff piling on the pressure, but Wigan's defence is holding strong.

A clever flick put Zaha through on goal in the box, befor ehe is brought down by Boyce. The referee not having the penalty shouts, though.

McManaman is coming off to be replaced by James McClean.

Noone plays the free kick into the box, but Wigan clear their lines. Cardiff with the ball. Eikrem has a shot at the far side, but it's blocked.

Cardiff have a free kick as Noone is downed in a dangerous area. Beausejour goes into the book for the foul.

Zaha with some clever step-overs and skill on the edge of the area, but then puts his cross into the box out at the corner flag on the far side.

Debutant Berget comes off to be replaced by Noone.

Cala gathers a cleared ball and has a shot on goal, but it's well wide of the mark.

Cardiff free kick on the halfway line for a shove on Campbell.

Fotune does well to control the ball on his chest and looks to go clear on goal, but Caulker comes in well and shrugs the Wigan man off the ball.

Zaha is played into the area by Campbell and dinks his way past one defender, but his shot is well blocked by Boyce.

Theophile-Catherine plays a little dinked ball into the box, but he plays it behind his team-mates and Wigan clear.

A bit of a mix-up at the back post as Marshall flaps at an unexpected McCann shot from a tight angle, luckily Caulker is there to mop up and clear the danger.

Al Habsi makes an easy save from a rather weak Cala header.

Zaha gives the ball away again on the counter attack as he tries a little cut-back to get past the defender.

Cardiff look to hit on the break, but Perch cuts out the ball forward.

Second half
We're back underway...

That's it for the first half. Good game so far with three great goals. Cardiff 1-2 Wigan.

Cardiff have a corner at the end of the half. After Al Habsi clears, Daehli plays it in and Cala nearly scores from close range as the Wigan stopper fails to gather the ball.

The fourth official has indicated two minutes added on at the end of the half.

Caulker launches the ball back into the box after the corner is cleared, but Al Habsi does well to gather with one hand under pressure from Campbell.

Zaha wins a corner as he links up well with Daehli down this left-hand side.

GOAL! Ben Watson makes it 2-1 with an absolutely terrific strike from the free kick. Gomez lays it off from the set play before Watson thunders home with his right-foot.

Daehli tries to set Zaha through down the flank, but the the loanee loses the ball as he tries to cleverly get past Beausejour.

The Cardiff backline taking turns passing it back to the keeper under pressure from Wigan.

Eikrem with a blasted ball across the box. Al Habsi fails to get his fingers to it, but luckily for him it goes wide of the far post.

Daehli makes a good dribbling run to the edge of the box before laying it off to Zaha, who puts in a terrific cross into a dangerous area, but Campbell can only manage to head over the bar. Should be 2-1.

Zaha making some good runs into the area, this time forcing a save from Al Habsi at his near post.

Berget powers into the box and forces an easy save from Al Habsi in the Wigan goal.

GOAL! Zaha dribbles into the box and loses his footing, but the ball falls to Campbell and he drills home with his left-foot after a scramble in the box.

Espinoza's effort loops over the bar after Beausejour plays in the corner.

McManaman chooses to ignore Gomez's good run into space and go it alone, winning a corner in the process.

Taylor's cross into the box doesn't get past the first man as he tried to pick out Campbell at the far post.

Eikrem forced to pass all the way back to Marshall after some good pressure from Wigan.

Boyce and Fortune try to combine down the right flank, but the ball rolls for a Cardiff throw.

GOAL! Wigan take the lead through McCann. Gomez wins the ball and the flank and lays it on a platter for a good finish left-footed from McCann.

Gomez plays it in, but Cardiff clear their lines for the time being.

Wigan get a free kick as McManaman is shoved in the back. Dangerous area.

Caulker clears the ball just as McManaman looks to make a run at goal.

Daehli looks to cross the ball into the box, but it's just over the head of Eikrem.

Beausejour whips it in, but Cardiff head clear, and now have a chance on the counter-attack, but the move breaks down with Zaha.

Wigan have a corner...

Zaha looks to break through the middle, but runs into the back of the defender as he attempts several step-overs. Referee not having his attempts to win a free kick.

Cardiff doing well to keep possession. Wigan trying their best to press the ball.

Boyce tries to pick out Fortune with a dinked ball over the top, but Cala is alive to the situation and clears his lines.

Two debutants connect as Cala plays a good ball over the top to Berget, but the latter's control lets him down and Wigan have the ball back.

Cardiff now passing the ball around the halfway line.

Cardiff now starting to exert themselves with the ball. However, Wigan launch a quick counter-attack and Perch gets the shot away from the edge of the box, but skews it wide.

Ooh Cardiff with a nearly moment as Zaha plays a lovely reverse to Theophile-Catherine, but Berget fluffs his first-time effort.

Now Cardiff's turn as they win possession at the back and build play from the back.

Cardiff are rated at 23/20 to beat Newcastle today according to our friends at Sky Bet, with the Latics at 5/2 to emerge victorious, while it is 9/4 for the match to end in a draw. Fraizer Campbell is at 4/1 to score first and 7/2 to secure a brace, with Marc-Antoine Fortune at 7/2 to net in the 90 minutes.
