Lloyd Isgrove scored the only goal in the 20th minute as he got his head to Nathaniel Clyne's cross from the right wing, and at the final whistle Saints were able to celebrate a fourth straight friendly win without conceding.

Ronald Koeman's men, who have also beaten EHC Hoensbroek, Sporting Hasselt and Swindon this month, travel to Brighton next week before hosting German giants Bayer Leverkusen at St Mary's on Saturday, August 9.
