Mediawatch was shocked to see Cristiano Ronaldo bury his header in the 30th minute at the Bernabeu because The Sun's Antony Kastrinakis had told us on Wednesday after in-no-way-deeply-flawed calculations that he was most likely to score in the 50th minute.
He confidently told us not to 'make a cuppa immediately after half-time' because that was when we should expect goals from both Robin van Persie and Ronaldo. Actually, had you made a cuppa just after half-time, you would have missed absolutely f*** all.

Let us take you back to Wednesday morning and the betting advice of 'sports betting's top tipster' Derek McGovern in the Daily Mirror on the likelihood of 'flat-track bully' Ronaldo scoring against Manchester United.
Wrote McGovern: 'When the opponents don't have a weakest link to single out, he tends to chicken out. So don't be tempted by ludicrous odds of 4-6 for Ronaldo to score tonight and instead lump on at 11-10 that he doesn't.'
Oh how Mediawatch hopes he did indeed 'lump on'.
Fallen Angel
Martin Keown in the Daily Mail, p85: 'A big reason United didn't man-mark Cristiano Ronaldo is that Angel Di Maria was just as threatening on the opposite flank. The Argentine is so fast and gives defenders nightmares, popping up all over the place. His work-rate is fantastic and he is not afraid to take anyone on. According to the Daily Star: 'Andre Villas-Boas has risked another row with Hugo Lloris by denying him the chance to face his former club tonight. Lloris is the France No.1 and was not happy when he signed for Tottenham from Lyon in an £8m transfer last summer to find himself on the bench behind Brad Friedel.'
The so-very-not-happy Lloris in October: "When you come into a new club, you have to prove yourself and that is logical. Things will come naturally, I won't force them. I expected that because England remains a specific culture. Englishmen want to see you play on their pitches before judging you, but this questioning is fine to me."
Lloris has now started Tottenham's last 15 Premier League games. We suspect he's really quite fine.
More Than Happy
Coventry City manager Mark Robins, February 7: "I am more than happy as manager of Coventry City. [Maybe] If Manchester United came calling...but they have a manager.
"I have been here for five months, so we're getting dangerously close to the 11th-month average for Coventry managers. But, in all seriousness, I had a meeting with some of the board on Wednesday and spoke to the owner about other things planning for the future, so that should tell you a story."
