Ripley has made three first-team appearances for Boro and has previously had a spell on loan at Oxford United in the 2011/12 season.

He was recently linked with a loan switch to Aberdeen, but the 20-year-old has now headed to League One side Bradford for the next month.

The Bantams completed the signing in time for Ripley to be available for Saturday's opening game of the season away to Bristol City.

Ripley has made three first-team appearances for Boro and was part of the England squad at the Under 20 World Cup in Turkey earlier this summer.
