The Scotland international almost joined Nottingham Forest in the summer and Sky Sports understands that Billy Davies has rekindled his interest in Dorrans.

West Brom have not offered Dorrans new terms, and the 26-year-old is eager for first-team football with just two starts under his belt this season.

Reading and Middlesbrough are also monitoring the situation, as are West Ham, who tried to sign the player back in 2010 but had a £4million offer rejected.
