Kenny Jackett: Delighted with win

The win stretched the visitors' unbeaten run to 12, having taken 19 points from the last 21 and are up to fifth having won their last four games.

"It was a fantastic result for us," said Jackett. "I thought that in the first-half we were flat. We looked like we lacked energy but we hung in there.

"Going into the second-half we grew and looked in control.

"You could see the goal coming and I am really pleased for Andy Keogh as he had two goals disallowed on Saturday (against Blackburn Rovers) so he was owed one and it was a very, very good finish.

"We are talking about trying to establish ourselves in the top ten of this division.

"That is a big ask but it is our aim. We feel that if we are in the top 10 we are around the play-off area. That is ultimately where we want to be.

"At the start of the season we felt we had more players who could score than

since I have been here.

"Defensively we were quite poor and we worked at that and we have managed to hang in games by being strong defensively.

"That has helped us and we have had some very good performances. We have got great team spirit and in this run I have seen a group of hungry players."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
