Chris Wood: Wanted man

Huddersfield and Leicester have been linked with moves for 21-year-old striker Wood, who has scored eight goals since joining the Lions on loan from West Brom.

"I think it is just par for the course with forwards where a lot of people always look at that area and at people who are doing very well," Jackett told News Shopper.

"It isn't a situation which comes as any surprise to us but I don't know any facts about any sort of bids.

"I can assure our supporters we've done everything we can in terms of pursuing Chris Wood by speaking to the parent club West Brom.

"We will just have to wait and see what happens in January."
