Shane Lowry: Enjoying his new position

Lowry has spent most of his career in central defence but has been moved to full-back by manager Kenny Jackett in recent weeks.

The Australian is still keen to return to the heart of Jackett's back line, but while Danny Shittu and Mark Beevers continue to impress, Lowry is happy to make the most of his new role.

He told London24: "To be honest, at the start I wasn't too keen about it.

"I still see myself as a centre-half but the gaffer has given me loads of confidence to go and play there.

"He's given me a good run in the team and now I seem to be thriving on it. I'm really enjoying it. I'm part of a back four that's doing really well at Millwall at the moment."
