Campbell worked with Lions boss Ian Holloway during their time at Blackpool, with the forward scoring 34 goals in 60 appearances.

Millwall have scored just 27 goals in 26 matches this campaign and Holloway will hope the 32-year-old can boost their goal tally, although he is yet to score in nine appearances for Rovers this season.

Campbell has flown out to join his new team-mates for their warm-weather training camp in Portugal and could make his debut in Millwall's next game, at home to fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday on 28 January.

He becomes Holloway's second signing since taking over at The Den on 7 January, with Tottenham youngster Ryan Fredericks having already joined on loan.

irst Townsend, now Chiles. What next ITV? Comedy that you can actually watch without vomiting up your own spleen? I'll be sad to see Matt Smith go though. I actually quite like him. Plus, he was good in Doctor Who.

wful, awful pundit. He was crap on BBC, and offered a little more analysis than Robbie Savage - apart from the delivery of banality in a sexy accent. Also, as I'm Irish he'll never be more then a slimy, hand-balling f**ker in my eyes.
