Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday have been hit with an FA misconduct charge following Tuesday's 1-1 draw at The Den.

Players from both sides squared up to each other following an 88th-minute clash between Millwall's Shane Lowry and Wednesday's Giles Coke, who were both sent off.

The Football Association confirmed both clubs have been charged with "failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour".

The clubs have until 6pm on Monday, February 3 to respond to the charge.
