FIFA really are a microcosm of what is wrong with the world in general in 2014. It used to be that we elected our leaders and in turn they would represent our views. It was a straightforward model that was meant to be efficient and get the job done.

Now, our leaders see being elected as an end in itself. It means they have arrived, they are in power. And you...tiny little you, aren't. No executive committee, no corporate entity, no government is bigger than the mass collective they represent. They feel they are, because on an individual, one-to-one basis, they are.

When the sums are done though, it's a 24-man committee versus three billion football fans. They can run the rule, but we have the power to overthrow.

There's a growing movement in America to 'keep money out of politics'. Following the lead of their campaign, we've replaced the word 'America' with the word 'Football/game'. We've replaced the word 'People' with the word 'Fans'. And the words 'Government' and 'politics' with 'FIFA'.

See how true it rings...

This is not the game we were promised

This is not of, by and for the fans

We, the fans, have been replaced

And money is all that matters to FIFA.

Bribery has been legalised

Elections are auctions

And FIFA is so corrupt

That it no longer works for the game.

This is perhaps a little political, but unless people are prepared to get political then they deserve FIFA. Time for change. Reclaim the game. Funk FIFA!

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
