Suarez has been a divisive figure for many outside of Anfield but Pardew is an unashamed fan of the Uruguayan forward.

And he is looking for Magpies magician Ben Arfa to conjure something similar for his side - starting when the two teams meet live on Sunday.

"He is an outstanding talent. There is no doubt about that," Pardew told the Newcastle Chronicle, when asked about Suarez.

"I think you have to see how many chances he creates and how many things he does in a game.

"You could do a highlights show for him after every game.

"I've been talking to Hatem about trying to have the same impact that Luis is having.

"Hatem almost did on Sunday (against West Brom). You could have put him in that category.

"We're looking at our own assets and we want them to worry about us."

t's why Mourinho is so successful. He gives players a specific, limited set of functions to perform. They are but a cog in a machine. Do no more, do no less. I assume he learnt it from LvG :)

really hope that someone in the mainstream media spots that the Bayern manager played for and managed Barcelona quite well, and thinks to mention it in the build up. That would be really interesting.
