Krul, who landed awkwardly and had to be replaced early in the second half by

Rob Elliot, is expected to return to pre-season training at the end of July.

The Dutch goalkeeper, who dislocated his shoulder while on loan at Falkirk five years ago, has made 31 appearances this season.

He signed a new five-year contract in March last year having usurped Steve Harper as the club's No 1 choice the previous season.
