Newcastle have won their last two leagues games and, as they prepare to play Hull City this Saturday, they could find themselves on 10 points and level with current leaders Liverpool at the summit.

"It's two wins in a row, so that's good - now let's keep on winning," he told NUfcTV.

"We will work hard this week again, analyse them and bring our best performance on the pitch."

Anita is currently keeping Cheick Tiote out of the side, and he hopes they can continue the level they showed last time out against Aston Villa when they claimed a 2-1 win.

"We had a lot of the ball and you can play then, and that's my strength," he said.

"Of course - as a player, you always want to play and this year I've played more so let's keep it this way."

Anita joined the club from Ajax last season and he admits it took time for him to settle.

"I had things to learn and I hope to show it this year," he added.

ah, Fergie is just having another pop at Rooney. He just wants to put him down whenever he gets a chance. Rooney is by far the best English player. Carrick is not far behind, mind. However, by elevating Carrick like that, Sir is having a dig at Wayne. Fergie is well-known for mind games like that. Good to see he's still feisty.
