Crewe Alexandra winger Byron Moore has signed a new two-year contract with the League One outfit.

The 23-year-old, who scored Alex's second goal in their 2-0 play-off final win over Cheltenham in May, has committed himself to the club until 2014.

His decision follows intensive talks with manager Steve Davis and his assistant Neil Baker over the summer.

Moore has already made more than 200 appearances for the Railwaymen and last season scored 10 goals, including his decisive strike at Wembley.
